So your project is to make a gambling application where users need to download and install it on the application? It sounds interesting but bear in mind that people especially gamblers prefer to gamble on their PC/Notebook instead of on their mobile phone at least for whales who are spending a lot of money on gambling. I don't think whales will be interested to use your gambling platform, but maybe I'm wrong. Based on my own experience while gambling through mobile application (poker game) as there are many local poker sites offering mobile application, but I can say that gambling through desktop is better. Of course it will be based on how great the application you have as well as it is based on our own preferences about to gamble on an app or on desktop. Are you planning to make it available on browser as well or are you focusing on the app only?
Thank you, for your reply. Yes, at the moment we are focused on making our platform accessible for iOS and Android users. Perhaps you are right in some ways that some users prefer the game in a browser or on a computer, but I think we are moving into an era of mobile technologies (the same Apple using the iPad, is trying to replace the computer soon).
As for poker, for example, it is much more convenient for me to play Poker Stars mobile client than to the desktop one. But this is a matter of taste. We do not strive at the moment to compete with online casinos. We would like to give users the opportunity to play board games with each other and charge for it a commission like poker rooms. Of course, we will also have simple games (like dice), but we are not planning the slot for machines or roulette. As for the browser version, there is no problem to release it (since we have a good backend with our own API), and if there is a need and interest from users, we will do so. Although, I'm not sure that backgammon will be more convenient to play on the computer than on the iPhone and iPad.
