It's gonna be hard, bitcoin is going crazy right now.
It's always hard when a fork for bitcoin is happening. ICO's should plan around that it they want to achieve their goals.

bitcoin platinum is next and on january they talk on reddit that there is one more coming...they really found a good way to push bitcoin... and the bubble gets bigger and bigger...

Yeah, I also read about the next forks ... the worst about it is, that it fucks up the whole market and good projects already start to struggle getting money from investors. Now we really can talk about a bubble for BTC ... And as long as miners etc profit from this, they will go on with this forking and investors also will follow them because they also make a good share :/

Approved countries? LOL. Crypto currency have no borders, no limits. It's freedom. Nobody need any approvement from anybody.
You would be right if they only concerned themselves with trading purely cryptocurrencies. As Kakumei explained, UTRUST also deals with fiat currencies. Once you touch fiat you are going to be regulated, because fiat currencies are issued and controlled by governments. Their toys, their rules.
Aside from that there is also the grey area of exchanging labor, services and physical or digital goods for cryptocurrencies. Governments are probably looking for ways to prevent avoiding tax for those activities.
You may think you are a free individual, but you are born subject to the authority of the state. Some people have tried to revoke their citizenship and declare themselves sovereign individuals and got hit with the consequences real fast, real hard.

The good news, USA investors are allowed!
The bad news, the USA investors have to be Qualified Accredited Investors.
In the United States, to be considered an accredited investor, one must have a net worth of at least $1,000,000, excluding the value of one's primary residence, or have income at least $200,000 each year for the last two years (or $300,000 combined income if married) and have the expectation to make the same amount this year.
