243 pages on ico? This is what I call Hype:) Lets see how it goes!

just wait until the tokens go moon after the ico.... thats what i will call hype then

Do you have a crystal ball Grin? Joking apart, in my humble opinion, it will moon when first merchant will add Utrust's API, I see no reason to moon before, until first use case it's going to be a speculative token and nothng else
Now a lot of projects are stalling from the start (Look at the Request and AirSwap), I do not know with what it may be connected, perhaps with a hardfork bitcoin. I hope the Utrust will not be one of them.

I see many ICO's tokens these days going down because the whole alt market is going down. I believe that if you invest in an ICO because you trust it, there's no reason to sell your tokens at loss after few weeks though.
I agree with you that it do not need to sell tokens at a loss at the first fall. But still I like to watch how my deposit grows and does not fall day by day  Cheesy I hope the second half of November will be an excellent time for growth ..
I hope people will realise that Bitcoin Gold isn't that much worth and will invest in ICOs like UTRUST instead. I think altcoins will rise soon.

bitcoin gold is scam, there are many reddit blogs reciting this. they use a fork to push bitcoin to new heights. after this, we will see bitcoin platinum next year... to have the next pump...

Any idea how difficult it would be for web shops to integrate UTRUST and deal with the crypto side of it? Do you think it will be more difficult or actually easier than configuring PayPal?

I hope they develop some easy to integrate api system that will work on most default e-shops .. that would be very good for the adoption rate.

Exactly, I am a bit worried about the adoption rate from the merchants' side. A large group of people are still skeptical about cryptocurrencies and among those are of course also people with web shops. Convincing those people is a hurdle UTRUST needs to tackle by removing as much uncertainty and friction as possible.

I read on the website of Utrust that they dont accept fiat currency if you want to participate in the ICO. Maybe this is a stupid question, but why do they only accept ETH and BTC? I mean if Utrust wants to be the future of online payment, should they not accept also fiat currency?

There is probably a legal reason for that, ie. to prevent the tokens from becoming securities. If tokens are securities you enter regulation hell.

Companies mostly use cryptocurrencies out of an abundance of caution. When you’re using fiat currency, you start touching the margins of banking and money transmitter regulations, and using cryptocurrencies keeps you clear of them. It’s also the case that a lot of your audience – right now, at least – is part of the cryptocurrency world anyway. These are people who have [digital] wallets. It’s not hard for them.

According to the Howey test, an instrument is only a security if it involves an investment of money or other tangible or definable consideration used in a common enterprise with a reasonable expectation of profits to be derived primarily from the entrepreneurial or managerial efforts of others.

If they do, then those transactions are considered securities and are subject to certain disclosure and registration requirements. When tokens are structured basically as the sale of a service or product, they’re designed to make sure the various prongs of the test are not triggered.

I think that's the good explanation too. Hard to justify cash arriving right in your bank account when it comes from cryptocurrencies.

probably a bit more difficult at first, but shouldn't be a problem considering the advantage that such an integration would bring.

I don't really see the advantage of a payment credit card for UTRUST.
I'll be more than happy when the platform is released, that will be awesome without that card that a lot of people like to talk about.

There are already multiple crypto payment cards, but no PayPal alternative

I am not sure why this idea of an UTrust card came up in the first place. UTrust is going to be a payment option where you can use your cryptos, there are already other projects that offer such cards.

It is really true that most of the altcoin token now are getting down because bitcoin was getting higher. I was just curious now that utrust is in the middle of the campaign, does utrust get also affect by the value of bitcoin increasing stage even it is in the middle of the ico?
Yes sure many people want to get Bitcoin Gold although it's not sure if it even has some value.

If UTRUST would be working somewhat as Paypal in crypto, would there be a chance that it can be stored in physical cards/hardware wallets also?

Well the UTRUST token is on ethereum, and ethereum can be stored in a physical card/hardware wallet so .. yes why not.

Does paypal have a physical card? Yes, it have.

So why utrust shouldn't. Probably they will make in the future but right now I don't think it is their first priority.

Paypal has a physical card? How does it work? Like an prepaid credit card or something like that?

But yes, why not. I think if UTrust booms and will make a physical card, it could become a real competition to the current crypto based credit cards.
I don't really see the advantage of a payment credit card for UTRUST.

Hello!
What news about the project?
How do you think they will collect the maximum for the ICO, and how much will it last?
Judging by the information this platform will be in demand, the question is how soon?
And so, in general, the whole idea is very good! I like, I hope they reach their goal in a short time!
I wish everyone good luck and a good evening!
