Also, I'm starting to think this section needs an indicator that says whether the card is physical or virtual, don't you think? Right now there are still some weird bullet points from the legacy topic.

Physical or virtual is an essential information imo, I also think a very important information that need to be added, considering the high sensitivity to privacy that the crypto community has always had, is the one regarding KYC procedure required or not.
Thanks for reviving this topic and for the efforts you are doing to gather all the infos.

I agree that the information about whether the card is only virtual or also physical is relevant.
But I think it's even more relevant to include an indication of whether you need KYC or not. And perhaps even create a classification for the level of KYC requested (but this may be more complicated).

Regarding not listing pre-release cards, it makes sense. We'll see how this "experiment" goes.

I inform you that the Bitrefill card is about to be launched soon: https://www.bitrefill.com/card

Here's another card to add to the list. Wink

From what I heard from friends that actually have competitor's card, Coinbase debit seems like the most obvious choice, and after that crypto.com.

I am in the similar situation as I also used Binance card for the last few years and now I am on the lookout for a new one but I am reluctant to go through KYC once again.

I also think the Crypto.com card is a good option. But I have the same problem as you, I don't really feel like going through the KYC process again. Unfortunately, I think it will be difficult to avoid this. Undecided

@NotATether you added the Coinbase card to the list twice, I see they're no different (or I've missed something).
You might also want to check out this No-KYC card Smiley https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitstore-card-5475083

Whoops!

I'll need to fix that - the topmost card has the correct data. If there is any below that then I need to remove it.

Speaking of which - there will inevitably be more EEA cards on this list than other regions (in particular USA) because of the friendly nature of (most) European governments to crypto.

Speaking of crypto debit cards. What do you think is the best card to use in Europe?

I used to occasionally use the Binance card, which will now stop working. So I think about the possibility of seeing another viable one.

You might have to skim through the list to see which one best suits you. The good thing is that a number of them are available for residents of the European Economic Area (EEA) like Nexocard, Bybit card, coinbase card etc so getting another option won't be a problem.
Maybe fees and the level of KYC verification could affect your choice.

That's a bit like that, fees and KYC are a point that hasn't been favorable in what I've seen on the list.

Hence, I am asking for the opinion/feedback of other users who have one of these cards.

@NotATether
Can you add more non-kyc cards, even if they are only virtual and gift cards?
I can't find any good source that is comparing all of them.
You also need to recheck cards that you already posted, if they are working or not, and if fees are the same.

That's the plan, though I think it would be wiser to check if every card is still online first.  Smiley

I intend to create a new column for if it has a virtual or physical card, or possibly both. Also another column for if it is prepaid.

Where is the link to the author of the topic? Where the fuck is the element of quoting someone else’s material that you’re all telling me about here? You simply copied what I did, even my cut-out photos, and presented it as your work.
He said that he continues where you stopped, and you don't really have the right to complain after you deleted a bunch of your posts and topics without any explanation  Tongue

Do you know if it is still using the eftpos network or has it switched to Visa or Mastercard?

I see that eftpos is a big thing in Australia and New Zealand. However, I must admit that I have never seen an eftpos terminal in my life  Cheesy so I'm wondering how do people make use of these cards in places that accept one of the Big Four card networks.
Sorry, unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to enjoy and use the card for shopping purposes... i only deposited a small amount into the card 5 years ago.

However, I believe now it has the VISA logo on the card, indicating that it can be used for international transactions without being restricted to the Australia or NZ region.

Crypterium Card

  • Supported Countries - Europe
  • Service fee - $0 (monthly)

I distinctly remember having this card when I was really love into altcoins. Yesss... i joined this forum because of altcoins, but now my interest has shifted to bitcoin. The card didn't play a huge role in my life, so I decided to stop using it to simplify things.

Just a heads up for updates Crypterium has rebranded to Choise., the new Crypterium  Choise website is https://choise.com/, and for card services, you can check out https://choise.com/card.

I'm going to have to move all those links into the defunct category.
Yeah, that would be good... or maybe just a simple list of defunct and scam service in one of the reserved posts like it was done here for easy tracking

I tested a few services that claimed to be operating worldwide according to the post, but it turns out they support a few countries. For example Nexo card is only available to citizens and residents of the European Economic Area (EEA)

I will be checking more with time.

Is it just me or spend.com is completely down and therefore one of those defunct services? I keep getting the Origin DNS error.
Website doesn't work for me neither/

I just checked some of the cards and spend.com not the only website that is not forking as for example bitplastic.com domain is up for sale and few other website are not working (or links are broken) so  NotATether will have to go though the whole lust and remove those that are not available anymore.

I'm going to have to move all those links into the defunct category. I'm also in the process of updating that section to the new design.

There are also quite a number of new services that need to be added as well, for example Bitrefill which was already mentioned. All that is going to be taken care of in due time.

I tried checking out some of their social media channels and it's equally disappointing
1. https://www.reddit.com/r/Spend ---. Just spam. No moderation activity at all
2. Twitter ---> Last activity July 2021
3. telegram ---> Username not found.

You should create a unique thread instead of copying from someone else. Nevermind, the original thread has been deleted or whatever. You must make it your own style and format. Anyone can post about cards, but they should be unique and shouldn't steal information from others that they struggle to collect. Otherwise, you must quote the whole thread. I will advise you to archive this thread and collect information yourself about the latest and most active cards. I won't really welcome such a thread; otherwise,  your choice.

...Eh? Huh

Here we have the following format which is very good and much more suitable than the previous one:
