750 ti can mine a lot of other coins faster than an r9 290 too...just not scrypt and scrypt-n...and no x13 for now, but well.
It's the ultimate mining card, in every possible way.

With the proceeds you can go and buy vertcoin and get more vert per day that way.

"The latter allows 14 altcoins to be used to reward posts on Facebook in a very real sense, rather than merely giving them the standard ‘like’. The full list reads: dogecoin, digibytes, einsteinium, fedoracoin, mintcoin, reddcoin, quark, worldcoin, vertcoin, karmacoin, earthcoin, trollcoin, HTMLcoin and donationcoin."

Vertcoin has potential but got gutted recently when the lead developer left.

Anyone care to explain what the guy meant by that?

He's just making stuff up.

Typical FUD.

kudos to verters pool for posting an answer there. I think it's important to not let such FUD go unchallenged.

how to mine it with cpu??? Huh I need some help, and I hope someone can tell me. thanks so much,

You can't mine it with CPU. Mining with GPU is the only method and that generates little income.

Beg to differ, you can and I do.
But I will agree its not worth having your PC running just for mining with your CPU, electricity will cost way more than you will make, but you can have it running in the background whilst you are surfing the web for a few exta kHashes, or if you use your PC for GPU mining, might as well use the CPU as well, just need to leave one core available or it will slow down GPU mining.

I don't even think it's worth paying for the extra power to run through the CPU for some of us. Just depends On cost of power for hashrate return.

Also keep in mind you already have all the power for GPUs running through the motherboard... you don't want to risk frying it by powering the CPU also. Just something to keep in mind. Obviously if it's working for you, great, but for me personally, it's not worth the risk for a few extra kh/s.

Sell them and get a lot of GTX 750 Tis...evga sc are my favorite.

What does a 750 ti hash at on N?

Up to 150kH/s

Then isnt it better to get one r9 290 with 450khs for the same price as 3x 750ti-s?

But 150kH/s @65W from the wall...

but it will take up more space than one 290 Smiley Grin

It's a matter of power costs... Only if you have "free" power - R9 290 is better.
