I agree, while the relative comparason between BTC/VTC seems to show a price drop, I believe VTC is stable.
However, because of the comparason to BTC, ive decided to hold my mined VTC rather than sell it daily as I normally do.
So for the time being, im going to keep mining but hold my VTC.

Nothing to be concerned about, just buy more cheap coins 
yeah did when price was very low = 22k satoshi -.-
Now I am not happy at all from lower price ... as my bag is way more cheap + not even more btc to buy more...
Just a few days ago the price was hitting 27-28, wait and be patient, if you can't buy more then just wait for a bit and don't look at the price every 6 hrs, that way you are only stressing yourself
VTC is not the right coin for shortselling...

Vert price is not going down ... its stable ....
but its the BTC that is going up ....
look at vert market cap ... pretty solid 4.12M 4.01M 3.99M
i told everyone through my twitter and at chat in poloniex to sell all VTC a week ago since that BTC uptrend started .... u will buy Way more VTC as long as BTC rising

I am sure NO ONE is ... so .... simply.... all have its limits!I understand your frustration, but I dont see why you keep posting those frustrations on every forum the last few days. Its getting tedious and its not accomplishing you anything.
And if you are going to panic every price movement you will have a heart attack by the end of the year. If you hit your limit then pack it in but please stop posting about it every 2 hours.
You should know by now what is being developed for Vertcoin in the near term, and the potential benefits that might arise when asics fully roll out. If you cant be patient then just move on, there is nothing else to say mate.
Edit: A key thing to remember is not the price today but the potential price in the future. Even if you are mining at a loss right now you are still getting "stocks" in a "company" that might rise in the near term.

If using Windows, get a second 4gb stick...4gb is enough for linux, barely cuts it for win.
Not kidding, it won't work...I run both win and linux mining rigs. (curecoin needs win for now :/)
Just 2 gigs of ram on both of my rigs (win7x32) and vertminer runs excellently. No errors, no stales. So this is just a bs about needing more ram.2gb is BS...what was your hash rate wise guy? (and what gpus)
2x6780 and 2x5770. Was 1000 kh/s with scrypt, now 480 kh/s. Seems legit. Using 1.5.3 of vertminer, and yeah 1.5.2 gives only hw errors. May 23, 2014, 04:11:02 AM

It's been a fun ride guys, but I just got out of VTC. Been with it from the start and it was promising. I still think that technically it's a good coin.
However, I think it's spiraling the drain. The merge-mining fad I think finally did it in. It not only devalues newly mined coins but devalued everything that long time miners have worked for and it encourages the mine-and-immediately-sell mindset.
I hope I'm wrong and someone makes good with the VTC I sold, but this move feels right for me.

Ive got 7850s. When I start vertminer with just pool/login info, 3 of the gpu's fail and one runs about 10KHs.
Running Scrypt, I get 420KHs out of all 4 gpus.

If you use SGminer you can more or less use the same settings as scrypt, just that you have to set the flags for N-scrypt. I will post the flag config when I get back from work.

I would love it if I could actually tune vertminer.
However, my problem is that just running vertminer with no command line options and no conf file results in gpu failure.
I need to figure a way to just get it started before I can consider tuning it.

Try SGminer? The latest version supports N-scrypt. What GPU are you using?
