Anyone who is trying to make a quick buck on any crypto currency is going to be out of luck for a year or two. I think many enthusiasts should watch some of Andreas Antonoupolus' videos, one thing he mentions that makes the most sense to me is this. Crypto currency is the first international currency type ever created, however right now only 1st world cultures are using it or really even know about it. But there are a billion people with no access to traditional bank systems but do have internet access (like with their cell phones), once the proper item is invented that will allow these billion people that live in oppressed societies to all of a sudden have access to a true international bankless currency system, at THAT point you will see the true adoption and power of the invention of crypto currency.
At this point bitcoin and other alt coins aren't really going to go over 2-3k at most until the world as a whole starts adopting it, and it's going to start with the cultures who actually NEED crypto currency to exist for them, and they aren't going to get their hands on crypto currency until the proper inventions happen that allow them to use and experience it.
Then you will see your 500k-million dollar bitcoin and if vertcoin is even .02 of that you will easily see 20k vertcoins in the future.
First of all, many of us believe in the invention of decentralized payment systems, and are true believers. We know exactly what we have gotten ourselves into.
Im glad you started listening to andreas. But What you wrote is nothing new and many people are working to expand the crypto universe. It will happen sooner than you think.
2nd, to what I highlighted above, your logic is extremely flawed. VTc etc early adopters buying 10,000 coins at below $1.50 and seeing it rise to $10-20 (let alone the $2/3,000 that you said) is not considered a tidy windfall? And 2 years is nowadays considered a long time in terms of investments? Why dont you buy some cd's or IRAs to compare.
