With the wealth of user experience available on these boards, perhaps a consortium of pool owners should form for VTC? Granted most are in general competition, and that's fine, but a pool of knowledgeable people, working together to combat and react quickly to DDoS attacks and null route them. The consortium could even fund shared DDoS protection with everyone helping to protect their neighbor sort of speak.
VTC is in it's infancy right now so building a good community/shared responsibility not only serves it better in the long run but also supports it's mission statement of being more decentralized than other cryptos purport to be.
