Good day to all,

I'm new with Scrypt-N and looking for a much stable tool. I've tried the vertminer 0.5.3 and sgminer 5 but having some HW errors. Any help with the configurations of R9 270X GPU? Thanks in advance  Smiley

I think you might want older drivers for vertminer (I used thekev miner with 13.12 (old) drivers), and newer drivers for sgminer 5. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please...

You need 13.xx drivers, I think.

13.12 is decent but 14.4 is way more stable. I use 0.5.3 but I can provide you all the miners I have if needed.
Please let me know.

EDIT: You might want to check out this page: http://www.verters.com/vertcoin-hardware-list

I'm using 14.6 now. I'll try to check those drivers later tonight. Hope I can get rid of those HW errors. Thanks for the help guys.. Much appreciated and btw more thanks to Wolf0 neoscrypt kernel  Wink

when lyra2RE is published price won`t stay at 6 cent Wink

With lyra2RE it would prove the ideology of asic resistance. But does that mean the price go up? It suffered the multipool syndrome, so i think it will go up if it has an independent algo. Can other coins also use the Lyra2RE algo? Can Vertcoin be protected?

voephilis, nice greetings from Germany, Amberg Smiley.

I think every coin rises when there is a change in the algo or infrastructure. "investors" jump from coin to coin only looking at the development.
Look at NOBL. "investors" thought algo switch was in the early november days, so a lot of people bought and price rose 100 %. After hearing that switch comes end of november they sold and dumped their coins.

and I think that will be the same with VTC. --> price will rise shortterm till the next huge crypto hype comes and every coin rises longterm.

hehe, randywald! good to see some german vertans Wink
I am from Augsburg. had been often to Amberg. I like this city!

someone tried hard to manipulate vtc rise Huh

It's free market so it's normal. Everyone want to buy low and sell high Wink If someone has a lot of VTC - he can do it.

Does not compile.
I guess I am supposed to google for secp256k1 and install the first one found, since README.md and this thread is missing the relevant info.

Code:
g++ -c -m64 -pipe -fstack-protector-all -U_FORTIFY_SOURCE -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -std=c++0x -O2 -g -pipe -Wall -Wp,-D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -fstack-protector --param=ssp-buffer-size=4 -grecord-gcc-switches -m64 -mtune=generic -O2 -D_REENTRANT -fdiagnostics-show-option -Wall -Wextra -Wformat -Wformat-security -Wno-unused-parameter -Wstack-protector -fPIE -DQT_GUI -DBOOST_THREAD_USE_LIB -DBOOST_SPIRIT_THREADSAFE -DUSE_IPV6=1 -DHAVE_BUILD_INFO -DUSE_SSE2 -DLINUX -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -DQT_NO_DEBUG -DQT_WIDGETS_LIB -DQT_NETWORK_LIB -DQT_GUI_LIB -DQT_CORE_LIB -I/usr/lib64/qt5/mkspecs/linux-g++-64 -Isrc -Isrc/json -Isrc/qt -Isrc/leveldb/include -Isrc/leveldb/helpers -isystem /usr/include/qt5 -isystem /usr/include/qt5/QtWidgets -isystem /usr/include/qt5/QtNetwork -isystem /usr/include/qt5/QtGui -isystem /usr/include/qt5/QtCore -Ibuild -Ibuild -o build/bitcoin.o src/qt/bitcoin.cpp
