there is a recommended minimum hashrate for p2pool, if diff is too high and hashrate is too low you may not even solve shares in time.

There is no minimum hashrate. But the lower your hash rate, the higher your variance.

Has anyone else ran into problems with the P2P pool not paying out? Mined for 8 hours at 1.8mh/s shares accepted above 99% many blocks found and no payment received.
If you did have this problem how did you resolve it?

p2pool mining gives the best payouts.

Doubtful. Maxcoin has been hyped for a week now. Buyers have already set money aside.Because of this extreme hype, it would be a huge mistake to buy Maxcoin in the day or two after it's IPO. Expect prices to be greatly inflated by hot air. I'll wait 3-5 days before I consider a move in that direction. Price should be more realistic by then.

Open notepad, and browse to C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\Vertcoin
Open (if it's there) or create, if it's not there, a file called vertcoin.conf and paste this into it:
addnode=95.85.62.207
addnode=95.85.61.243
addnode=95.85.11.240
addnode=95.85.2.11
addnode=107.170.12.12
addnode=107.170.12.32
addnode=107.170.12.43
Now close and reopen the wallet and it will sync.
