I just get lots of HW errors when i use this modified CGminer. No accepts or rejects. 7950 gpu

please use this, its my config (also 7950 @ 1000/1500).
--thread-concurrency 19712 --lookup-gap 2 --worksize 256 --gpu-threads 1

With setting i have now some HW errors, but only 3 for the last 48 hours (for me this is OK).

Prices on 0daycoins are getting awful low..  This needs to hit a second exchange (coinedup maybe?) or this will set the standard for the value of this coin at a very low value..

look what happened to 42 coin...
it was sitting on like 40 btc per coin, then it hit cryptsy and look where is it now..
I dont understand that though.. perhaps massive pump and dump ?
This coin is way better as it is ASIC resistant..

What's with all the pools?  Massive DDoS attack?  They all keep going down.

Yeah, are we being DDoS'd Huh

Someone wants to stop VTC... I guess we're getting some attention.

The main pools are being DDoS'd but yet the network hash is still really high, someone stopping pools to mine themselves?

yup looks like people are running private pools and dossing all main pools... guess this will be the main trend in the next month when new coins get released. time to switch pools to p2pool....

0.00006 seems cheap, but it's a new coin. It's pretty impressive to see support for such a new coin.

The issue with the pool is people using an unmodified CGMiner and connecting to stratum.  All the rejected shares mess with stratum.

You probably need to reduce your thread concurrency.

So if N factor reaches from 24 to 25, there'll be no rig which can mine this coin anymore, and the block chain will HALT.

In the year 2694?

I think CPUs and even GPUs might have advanced a bit by then...

And in 2694 this coin will obviously still exist and people will still use it!  Grin

Edit: By the way, anyone working on cudaminer? I would love to mine faster that 2.7k on my CPU  Grin

What version of stratum-mining do we need for the pool?

I can get a reliable pool up but need the correct stratum version Smiley.

Yes, just compiled it, and replaced inside the cgiminer. And I don't have installed version, so it's impossible to strart it without ./ Will try on another system later on. And will re-check everything once again.

sorry, i do not really understand what you mean with "replaced inside the cgminer".
Have you downloaded the GPU cgminer from page 1 and compiled this?
Or do you use the sources from original cgminer and only replaced the scrpt130511.cl? (this is not enough, ocl.c and scrypt.c are changed too)

Yes, I've downloaded it from the 1st page. And the hashrate is close to 50% of original scrypt, so it should be proper setup. If no one seen it before, probably it something wrong with my system. Will dig more around today...

Thanks, but it didn't help Sad
Probably something wrong with my version of kernel itself. Got it from the link on a first page, strange. Using 7870, and as it based on the same GNC architecture as 7950/70 and R9 xxx the same OpenCL kernel should work for it as well.

you have compiled the sources and not installed the binary with make install, right? (thats OK, otherwise you overwrite your installed scrypt cgminer)
If yes, please start cgminer from the source dir with ./cgminer!
./ is really important to start the one from the source dir, not the installed one.
I have done this mistake too during my very firsts tests Wink
