Back in days, Vertcoin is really better than btc, but why btc is 6k$ and vtc only 1$??

I usually use shapeshift when switching from alts to vertcoin and today was the first day it has been unavailable for trading. Did some of you have the same problem?

Vertcoin is ready for cross-blockchain #dApps with new #Blocknet integration!
Now that Vertcoin is compatible with the Blocknet Protocol, it can be used in cross-blockchain dapps!

This release rebases Electrum-VTC to upstream Electrum 3.1.2. Primarily it upgrades Python to v3, Qt to v5 and enables bech32 vtc1 prefixed segwit addresses in the wallet.

Sorry for noob question, but I have heard, that main dev of this coin was Poramin Insom, the main dev now of XZC. Is it true?
