We have had many projects related to the Game field and I realize that most of the projects are not working well and fail.  A big and influential company like Ubisoft is sure to have an impact on users.  But the biggest problem with cryptocurrencies is legal.  Not all countries will accept cryptocurrencies and it is possible that the game will be banned or disabled for some payment features.

very lucky if Ubisoft is working with the blockchain project, I'm curious about who Ubisoft partnering with,
I also doubt I think I saw that in the OP, it's important to know which cryptocurrency Ubisoft will be working with, if it's an altcoin or bitcoin. If it's bitcoin then it's better for Ubisoft, bitcoin is the most popular and it will allure/entice more customers for them, I'm very sure they'll have more bitcoiners as customers than altcoiners.

But even if they will be partnering with an altcoin, it is also not a wrong move, there are good altcoins in the market and this year has been good for them, so if ubisoft will be working with one of them, then it is a good business.
Chances of bitcoins being accepted as a monetary payment system on the Ubisoft official platform might be a bit less due to the higher confirmation time, higher fees, etc which does not make bitcoins reliable for such instant payments. But, there are few other coins which could be a boost for the payment systems with minimum fees and fast network confirmations.

We can see that coins like EOS or Waves are been used in most of the gaming platforms so we might expect those coins to enter unisoft too. But, XRP launching it's new features like xRapid might make it more likely to get accepted into majority of platforms which might include ubisoft.

I would expect something more global from such a large company. Another new token will appear on the market, but this will not lead to any global changes in the cryptosphere. But I understand that they are doing what they can do. In addition, this is a good advertisement, because the video game industry has a huge audience around the world. It seems to me that such a token would be very successful.

Actually this kind of news is awaited by me. because I'm also a gamers, and join the crypto community to support what is truly the future. of course I am happy to see this if the popular gaming industry in the world adopts blockchain technology. But my assumption is that the video game company will make its own currency and not use the current alt network as we know it. one of the reasons also makes the currency itself will be more profits for the company, even though it requires a large enough cost for the promotion and construction costs of the crypto.

More and more big companies around the world are now realizing that cryptocurrency is the future, so it is not surprising they try to earn money with investments in blockchain startups.

if with Tron or Ethereum it seems like buying ETH and TRX could be a recommendation

I think this is going to be a great asset as Ubisoft also supports the cryptocurrency as a payment in their games I think it will be a great option and useful for someone like us that is aware of cryptocurrency and also a gamer.
In my opinion, this is going to be a big help to the company since it could attract and add to their profit if they have this option. Also, they are already investing in cryptocurrency as they implement this. Either way, cryptocurrency is also going to get big support and influence in this company.

Where is Microsoft? Where is Sony? The moment these two take over crypto implementation in video games the result will be mindblowing, let's leave out game developers and hope for the biggest console giants, imagine playing PUBG and earning rewards base on crypto? What other thing can make gaming more addicting ?

It's great if it happens by playing games and making some virtual currencies that have pretty good prices right now. Maybe that was the thing that everyone was waiting for in my opinion.
That will be a whole new level of playing video games and i am sure that people will like that even if they are not the gamer type but of course for the gamer it will be a new opportunity to continue their gaming and then your hobby can also be your part time job which is a win-win situation.

Indeed when bigger and more popular companies step up on makinh their own digital currencies and implementing it in a game that will surely be a big event for cryptocurrency and video game world and this can help in the mass adoption of cryptocurrency

I am happy when I see that new partner is on the same boat, especially when we talk about a video game company, many young people play games, understand computer technology, so the best audience for new digital technology.
I personally spend most of my time playing videogames on my Xbox, I can't help but think what if every players start earning while beating hard levels in videogames and buying weapon upgrades with the game token? Gaming companies can take crypto way much higher than others, I hope this come true someday

I think that the best first step would be to accept Bitcoin or some other altcoins in exchange for their games. Investing in startups is a great idea because the area is still unexplored and open for new possibilities but they should first show themselves as supporters of existing coins than looking to pump even more. If they invest in a project that fails it won't make a good first impression.

Not only Ubisoft but also some other gaming company supporting cryptocurrency. Today just saw Dutch game studio partnered with the Blockburn token! Ubisoft is one of the best gaming studios, I think by this movement more gaming company will be interested in crypto.

When I read this topic, the first thing that came to my mind is the movie 'Ready Player One'. In the said film, the creatord of the Oasis virtual game, this game played by millions, they created a virtual currency, most likely resembling blockchain currencies and it became successful. If game companies have one thing in mind then that is to use the full pros of the blockchain and make tons of money out of it. Many gamers would also benefit on that system too, helping eliminate poverty in the gaming community. I would be very interested in checking the said developments.
no only virtual game that can accept payments using cryptocurrency, currently I am still playing games in the game "Ninja World" (https://www.plaync100.net) when I want to top up gold there also can already accept payments using cryptocurrency so I think now many game platforms have started using cryptocurrency as one of their transaction methods.

Even if they do not make this something very known in the gaming community, I think there is a good chance we can have a good exposure just from Ubisoft itself, they are big enough to make a news about bitcoin in general.

However, what we are forgetting is the fact that just because they are doing this doesn't mean they will market it as well.

Remember Unicef? They have a crypto fund in general and they are huge as well yet very little amount of people know about the crypto fund, only we in the crypto world know about it, which means Ubisoft doing something like this is great and all that but if nobody knows about it, it won't change anything for us, they need to not only do this but also do some sort of marketing to get this heard all around the world as well for us to take advantage of it.

Ubisoft (A Video Game Company) is going to support cryptocurrency planning to supports cryptocurrency looking for new blockchain startups it can support.

Ubisoft company is popular because of its market and revenue, develop popular games like Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, Watch Dogs, etc.

I think they should also launch their own token in the market that could be used in all of their games, Also could be used in buying skills or items in the game this could be a great token targetting gamers.

Do you think they should launch their own token?
Ubisoft is a big company well-known creator of video games and of course many of their interests in the world good news for cryptocurrency if they adopt and use technology blockchain fore and make blockchain increasingly known to many people and many popular games platform in the future will use blockchain.

Maybe this is the first time a gaming firm planning to develop its own BlockChain for its functioning. Rather than going for its own coin it is good to go with the popular cryptocurrencies and further based on the response gained it is good to go for own coin. If I'm not wrong there are more number of cryptocurrencies developed for the purpose of gambling, but none has gained importance.

Companies that are already well-known have the potential to prefer issuing their own tokens. With more and more companies from various fields entering the cryptocurrency ecosystem, I think it is good for the investment climate in the crypto market because it will be able to regain investor confidence and can also bring in new investors
