This is what i've been hoping for because gaming world have millions of people and if crypto gets implemented we will have many more crypto investors, after trying out some crypto games like cryptokitties I knew right then that it's possible for giant gaming developers to start using crypto in games
this is really one of the reasons why cryptocurrency will continue to grow, many countries are starting to look at cryptocurrency to benefit. especially now people prefer playing games rather than staying at home.

Ubisoft is a massive company when it comes to game development it is just like a big software and graphic designing company and work of so many people that result in a game, all big companies slowly accepting and using crypto confirms the fact that slowly we are moving towards adoption and in future more and more such companies will come forward and crypto will become a truly house hold name.

Ubisoft (A Video Game Company) is going to support cryptocurrency planning to supports cryptocurrency looking for new blockchain startups it can support.

Ubisoft company is popular because of its market and revenue, develop popular games like Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, Watch Dogs, etc.

I think they should also launch their own token in the market that could be used in all of their games, Also could be used in buying skills or items in the game this could be a great token targetting gamers.

Do you think they should launch their own token?
in principle, they can issue their game currency. But, frankly, I do not see the need for encryption and anonymity when using currencies. Although, in principle, your blockchain with its masternodes and rewards for conducting transactions would be very interesting to users.

Yes, it has become supposed to maximize its functionality. So a more unique community niche will be formed. If the company does not want to be difficult to develop it, the company can use a cryptocurrency that already exists like BTC and other altcoins for payment options.
I am very interested in gaming companies that want to combine blockchain with technology, it's like a double power to attract millennial interest.

Wow, Ubisoft is an amazing company that has a large audience. Funny enough, nobody cared about supporting crypto currencies one year ago. Right now, when everything is raising, so much new big players are suddenly interested in crypto.

With a big company with known name like this entering the crypto currencies market, how could people and gamers out there miss this one of a lifetime chance. There have been so many projects in crypto of game based crypto tokens but there haven't a single one of them that I have encountered successful. Maybe this time it would be, as Ubisoft had already proven it's worth in game developing.

I have been playing Ubisoft's game since 2015, they are such a big company. So, this is another achievement for the crypto community that this giant company is ready to help the crypto startups! I think they will open crypto payment or they may come with their own token. Whatever happens, this is great news indeed!

This is great, I am still surprise that most of these game companies have not warm up to Crypto, if they can start adopting it then this is big deal for Crypto, the million of game users would become crypto users/holders and more adoption and market peneration

It will be much better if they will add crypto support in thier shop
It is better if they will do it like that. But there must be some reasons why they haven't done that or they are cooking something that might shock their customers and even the cryptocurrency communities. I'll the be one to quickly purchase a game with bitcoin if they have started accepting payments with it.

I am happy when I see that new partner is on the same boat, especially when we talk about a video game company, many young people play games, understand computer technology, so the best audience for new digital technology.
Yes, the next generation would be the best one to be exposed with this kind of technology. But for the profit generation of their company, they have to stick with where they're earning and they are still doubtful to simply add the crypto payment option.

with positive news like this is good news for the cryptoqurrency market again, if Ubisoft companies immediately adopt blockhain technology or develop their own cryptoqurrency, then this can attract the attention of investors out there to join the industry cryptoqurrency as well.
Actually it is not new news because we can see today many project developers have begun to make games as their project concept and some of these projects have been quite successful in adopting Cryptocurrency in the games have developed, for example, the agareum (agr) project where each player will get a number of tokens if they overcome their opponents, but it will indeed be quite positive news if a large game company is planning the adoption of Cryptocurrency, while in fact the project is no difference from the faucet that had already existed in my opinion.

Wow, never knew that Ubisoft is interested on cryptocurrency. A giant video games company that is well known around gamers.

It think that is a very good move from them, because that way they could attract more gamer who are into cryptocurrency and into games to use their services or products.
And also it might boost up cryptocurrency's popularity even more than now.
Seems like they are just triyng to test the water and these blockchain things which are currently hyped up by many instances. Although if it could supports the development and research of the utilization for blockchain it'd certainly helps a lot regardless what's their intentions are.

It's great that some big game company have taken a look at the cryptocurrency I think they saw how can a blockchain helped their company I think its their main goal to create a blockchain and have their own coin however the only thing that came to my mind is what are the things we can do about their token? mine it? buy their games using their coin? buy DLC's or items from them?

well this is interesting let's just watch about this matter and see where the blockchain willl bring the Ubisoft company.

Do you think they should launch their own token?

There are two options for them either they will use an existing currencies out there or they can just create and launch their own currencies especially if they like to earn additional revenue to their company knowing that they are a big company already.

They should gather first the team like the developer team as it is very important especially if they have no background yet about the currencies that they like to launch and with regards to marketing, I am pretty sure that they can pull it out correctly as they have experience already. So for me, it will be best if they just launch their own currency so they will not be dependent to other currencies out there and they can just freely do any adjustments that they like in the future.

Either way, I think these companies need these kinds of assets and could be really useful in the future because of this technology a lot of countries is slowly adapting to this cryptocurrency, bitcoin, altcoins, etc. that is also increasing its community over time. For sure as Ubisoft is also going to adapt to this cryptocurrency technology or even if they created their own token I think it will be both have a big effect in this revenue in the coming years.

Surely this cryptocurrency is going to be a great asset when it comes to popularity and could also be useful for the users as it adds to its payment method in the Ubisoft games or applications.

I have always supported a crypto currency for in game thing and people never really cared. Think about it, nowadays many games have diamonds, tickets, golds, timers, rubies or coins and what not which is basically just a digital fake thing that nobody really uses outside of that game right? So, if one company like Ubisoft or Blizzard or any major one just made a crypto currency of their own that somehow could be "earned" instead of mined, they could really make something special of this.

You can both buy the Ubisoft coin but also earn it as well, so either you spend your time or your money to get it and if you get it, you could sell it to other people as well if you want, or you can use it in games too, or you can even wager against other people and play against them and win more coin like that.

Basically, it might create some sort of issue for the companies that does it, however if they can manage to make it work they could make a lot more money with it on many many platforms.

Ubisoft is still the only one that wants to try this out, what about other big video game companies like square enix, Electronic Art, Activision, Sega etc? I hope there will come a time where we will start seeing Sony and Microsoft using crypto in games or accepting crypto as means of payment
