And the problem there is you seem to be implying that Bitcointalk should have a custom Android app made for it. I don't think there's any point in doing anywhere near that much effort for something that'll essentially come with epochtalk (not an app, but a mobile site I assume) - and I don't think anyone on the admin team (strictly speaking probably just theymos) has time to code something like that anyway, even if they can.

Yes, a mobile app for bitcointalk.org is good and a great idea but I think a mobile site of this forum is enough , still I support a mobile app of this forum

I didn't know about epochtalk. When it will be released. Will it replace this forum or it will be a separate forum, and what will be its scope. Another BTC forum?

Just wait for epochtalk, any extra coding or additions to Bitcointalk right now are kind of useless as they'll most likely be in epochtalk anyway. I voted yes. I mostly use my smartphone and I barely go online on my pc so a mobile app would be helpful. + some features in this forum is too big for screen so it's not that mobile friendly but it can work fine.

I like the idea of having mobile app of this forum but how the users privacy are protected here. Forum account here in bitcointalk is very important to anyone so I voted No. I browsing the forum thru mobile phone sometime and I see no problem. My phone is an old class Android phone which only has 350mb of RAM and I have no problem browsing the site. The bottom line here is , the site is mobile friendly so mobile app version of this forum is not required.

This zoom in and out is the problem here. It might be comfortable with tabs but not with mobile phones having relatively smaller displays.
Thing about being mobile friendly is to be able to read and write without any need of zooming.

That might be true with some sites but have you tried using the forum on mobile? Everything works perfectly fine, no weird shit appears and you can just zoom in when you have problems touching something. There is no need for a mobile app.

I was thinking that there is a need for official mobile app for this forum or atleast mobile version. This will increase activity on this forum as people are not carrying PCs with them everywhere. ) . The forum runs good on phone too and there is no need for an app unless you are too lazy to open your browser and type "bitcointalk.org"

I don't think so. Its not mobile friendly when you need to zoom in and zoom ou. When you need to slide things to just write a single reply. If you are using tablets then it's acceptabl.

Having to install an app just for bitcointalk.org and having to keep it regularly updated is a huge waste of time. I can't believe they plan to build in app, IMO that is a very dumb idea and waste of money and will most likely cause a lot of problems.

The forum is already mobile friendly, i personally use it a lot on my mobile and i have absolutely no problems with it, everything works fine, you can tap on anything without problems, so this is indeed a waste of time.
