Sometimes we can't help to recover express our thoughts or opinionsnor even sharing informations even if we knew there is a respected section for that kind of discussion since it is a bit connected to the main topic as it is also mentioned about returning money. Look, I don't completely disagree that the action of returning someone's money should be taken for granted, but not to even nominate them for such thing. It's definitely admirable, though. Would you start searching who lost a banknote if you'd found it on the street?

I, too, was surprised by such praise. Giving someone else's money has become a miracle in our time. Just doing the right thing is an act. There is clearly something wrong with this world. Does that mean that someone who thinks it's a miracle to get the money back wouldn't do the same if they were in that situation?

That's I was thinking too. It doesn't make sense to nominate a person who just came by and returned those wrongly sent funds as Discovery of the Year. Were they an example that the forum is alive? Were they actively participating during the last year? Did they make any friends?None of those.
Perhaps one of the most unexpected but at the same time iconic categories, which shows that the forum is alive.
The award is presented not only to novice bitcoiners, but also to other users who have been actively participating in the life of the forum over the past year ... heck, you can even nominate your best bitcointalk friend!
