I agree with JayJuanGee, it would have been nicer to be able to vote for 3 entries at least (with 3 points given to the 1st, 2 to the second and 1 to the last one, for example) because it's very hard to choose a single one.
Anyway I will give my vote to Becassine. Not just because her apple pie looks as hot as she seems to be Tongue but also because she dedicated a lot of energy to cook her cake and this pie, and to promote the contest.

I'm having a really hard time deciding which pie I like best. GazetaBitcoin, Becassine and AHOYBRAUSE (among others) made a great effort and a brilliant work. If I could vote for all of them... Embarrassed

Being honest to myself, and taking into account that I am also donating for the contest, I think it is better to abstain for this time and let the rest of the members decide.

Keep casting your votes and may the best win!

In fact, it is very difficult to choose someone who does not deserve a vote, but you can only specify one and this upsets me, so all the participants deserve approval and the warmest words. Smiley

Although everyone made an exceptional and tasty-looking pie, I like how MK-74 made a carved-out Bitcoin logo as well as Bitcointalk cookies.
Good luck to everyone who participated. Great job guys.

Thanks for the efforts of from those who made submissions, and I enjoyed looking at the pies --- and sure some were cakes, but still.. close.. pie, cake? .. and sure there were a few of the submissions that did not look very yummy (edible).. but still... .

Note:  I would have had preferred some kind of a rank-choice voting.. .. so that I still would have had the ability to vote for something like five of the pies (contestants who seemed to either put in a lot of effort or just had some great creativity/presentation), and then of course, a smartie member would have been able to implement a formula for how to actually count the votes / tally up accurately (and viola)..

Maybe such rank-choice voting would not have had changed the results, but surely would have had made me feel more better to be able to pick my top 5 rather than just picking one.... .. perhaps a thought for next year?  perhaps? perhaps?

Sure, right now, I could still list 4 more of the pies/contestants that I like (besides looking at mere merits that I had sent), but I am not going to do it... ....I refuse.. Tongue

Oh, and personally, I think anonymous voting would have had been better, but whatever.... .. I seem to recall that in the pumpkin carving contest, my vote was anonymous...
