I would suggest the order of the thread be changed to order number. According to the email, you are not penalized by payment date. They are shipping by order number.

Nope, BFL has clarified that the orders are prioritized by payment date (minus BFL internal processing time).
So for Bitcoin payment it's the moment you submit the transaction. For bank-wire it is the [order date] + [payment date - date BFL sends transaction details]

I'm skeptical that BFL is getting 30+ orders per day at this point. I wonder what's going on.
probably just people adding in bogus orders to try and throw off the people trying to calculate the hash to be added to the system...
