Would you please provide the final paid date per BFL crediting the days in which it took for them to send you wire xfer instructions.

Just got my purchase confirmed from Butterfly Labs, 6/23/12.

I'm updating with a new order, and correcting a previous one (which has the wrong order #). The correction is that my order for 2 Jalapenos should be order #1697, not 1679 (1679 is the newly reported order for a single).

I held off on reporting the second order since it was by wire transfer, and I wasn't sure what the effective pay date would be. But apparently since I wired the funds the same day that I received instructions, my effective date is the same day I ordered.

does BFL just avoid responding to all e-mails now? it would really be nice of them to at least send out a conformation that they'd received payment for my $700+ purchase

I'll add in mine:

I sent in my Wire-Transfer on 6/28.  No confirmation yet from BFL.

Would you please provide the final paid date per BFL crediting the days in which it took for them to send you wire xfer instructions.

Based on your total sold, the value of all before shipping and taxes is $276,559. The total transaction value that went through bitpay to buy these in the first 24-hours was $250,000 (http://www.prweb.com/releases/2012/bitcoin/prweb9637829.htm), if the article is to be believed.

I'd like to request a new column, out of interest. Transaction type B (bitpay/BTC) or W (wire transfer)

EDIT: I'm in Australia. You should add an international Y/N column.

There's only one problem with this thread. It does not take into account time zones. I recommend converting all dates to UTC.
Also, if you do add that extra Column, Country: Canada, Transaction type: BTC

In a broader sense, a $100 dollar bill today will be worth less in a year.

What magical investments do you have that are making more than 5%?
I'd still go for some SC gear over this, but since I started using Lending Club 2 1/2 years ago, I've made and continue to make a net annualized return of over 21%.  Just pick your loans carefully.  :-)

I've never referred anybody before, but this link to Lending Club is a shameless referral URL.

Why is there so much confidence in BFL, and a willingness to pre-fund and wait months? I've seen more reliable Kickstarter projects make less money, while those projects arose without venture capital and with identifiable figureheads. With all the controversy surrounding the company I'm blow away by the almost viral success of a cheesy press release on a product that doesn't exist (yet). So can anyone convince me why I should drop $170 on a Jalapeno and wait somewhere between four to infinity months, given the time value of money, as opposed to just using that money elsewhere?

tl;dr why should I purchase a jalapeno when I could just use the money on an existing venture or elsewhere and earn value in the meantime

time value of money = about 0% nowadays...

Paid with bitpay. I'm assuming they'll send a conformation later on?

Bitpay doesn't send an email, just print the invoice page. You may have to refresh it to sow the paid status.

BFL did send a confirmation by hand a few days after I ordered my normal singles, but haven't seen anything confirming the ASIC singles yet.

Wow, so the only we receipt we get is the screenshot I took of the bitpay order? That is a little scary....

I know this is a rhetorical question. But just in case, you shouldn't imho...
