The Jetsons is happening man, houses built on stands above the ocean, our robo assistants are Alexa and we have btc to transfer funds.
Don't care about anything less than strong AI. The day I can say to my computer "keep a look out for tickets to Elysium at a price below Dogshit and tell me when you find something" and it actively searches the entire internet until it finds a match, then I'll care.

Also I want a robot that can do all the household chores. We are close, we already have parkour robots. Just need to make it cheap enough.

A seastead without enough open space to take a stroll is not good enough.

And Star Trek is happening, we have wireless comms.

Bitcoin only happened because it is a last desperate attempt to avoid complete control of everyones personal finances.

You're never too old to think young.
Good morning Bitcoinland.

I see we had a wee correction overnight after yesterday's little rally... currently $5255USD/$7002CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Up by a couple of hundred, correct by a hundred, rinse and repeat. I can live with this.

I've only got 2-3 weeks before I've got to spend some bitcoins to buy about $30kUSD to take to Mexico. That's over 5 whole coins. I'd like to see that number go down.

Luckily I've got a new OTC exchange near my home that only charges 4% buy or sell (based on Stamp... one of the few who don't use Bitcoinaverage) and is fully anonymous. All cash, no checks or cards, discreetly behind closed doors. $40kCAD? No problem. We don't need no stinking KYC!

Ah the humdrum life of living happily ever after. Once upon a time there was Bitcoin. Once upon a time we can all live happily ever after.

Price looking good, obviously still not safe over 5k but it’s looking good. I hope we’ve left the 3k’s behind forever.

I don't even know how much (a fucking lot for sure) I would ask for making me live in the ocean. That being said I love what pioneers like Elwar are doing and will be watching closely. It is just not for me. Not my dream.

Fund Manager:

Bitcoin becoming a hedge against 'irresponsible' Banks

Bitcoin is becoming a safe haven

Travis Kling, chief investment officer at Ikigai Asset Management, believes that more people are becoming open to the idea of Bitcoin being a haven from uncertainties in the mainstream market.

Ok, I thought it was clear to all of you what I think about BTC, there's no problem with the FUD news or chart, I will add a comment about it. Wink

Please thank him for permitting you to continue to exist.

Lol, it's okay to put some order.

I understand why he says it, n00bs, people who read and do not write, maybe he influences his decision and interprets the opposite of the publication.

New discovery today, you peeps ever try or hear of lolli?
They give free bitcoin rewards for money I'd have spent anyway by completing purchases through their affiliate links.
They look new but fairly well represented. Today I got 3.5% back for a purchase at booking.com, ya its legit.
I thought this would be interesting to the satoshi stackers out there.  I think this is so cool and another example of innovative steps forward towards adoption.

Using this link to register will reward my account https://lolli.com/ref/JhHPRKUMNM

Ok, so I signed up, where and when do I give them my BTC address?
You must collect $15 worth of BTC before you can transfer to your address. It'll accumulate in their custody until then. Your Hodl will be here www.lolli.com/account
And this should answer most any other questions you might have. https://www.lolli.com/about#FAQ

I like to publish the contrary opinions (FUD) you have to know what they think. Wink

I have gotten to understand your posting habits well enough to know that you are generally posting bullish stuff, and decent bitcoin information.

Nonetheless, frequently it will be good to highlight some level of analysis or pointing out that you are skeptical of the information.. meaning that you suspect that there is some FUDDING going on.  .. especially for the FUD materials...

Ultimately, you do what you like, but sometimes information could be read out of context if you do not highlight the seemingly FUD part of it.

reserve the order Lambos, Aston, Bentley... Cool

meh. I'm thinking more on the order of Cirrus or Epic.

Lol, You are on another level. Wink

Not a bad level to be. I wish it for all my WO brethren. Even those with whom I spar.

Personally I like something more discreet.
But it would be a good plan for WO

Why am I up at this ungodly hour ? Back to sleep with me.

I have been in bitcoin since a fair amount of time now.
But it still amazes me: this guy moved 36 MIOS USD spending 23.07 USD.
How much would it cost to move such amount of money with traditional banking system?
No to think about moving this amount in GOLD (this is why Bitcoin, digital gold, is actually BETTER than physical gold).

0 in Spain unless you are an ignorant pleb that doesn't know any better. Not the case of someone with that amount of money. So 0, and instant transfer.

It has been a good amount of DECADES since I pay ANYTHING for a transfer. The instant thing is recent though (it was like 24-48 hours before)

Can you transfer 32 Millions to the US for free? are you sure?
I bet you have free money transfer in SEPA (EU+ SUI) only.

Yep, you are right. The fee will surely be (way) higher (than BTC) in that case.

If you stay inside developed countries you're fine. Everything falls apart the moment you step back into attempting to interact with third world countries like the USA. But you're still going to get a better deal than average if the amount is huge.

Where I live - $0.

I don't understand why this particular meme gives people erections.
Bull fucking shit, when you transfer large amounts especially internationally they start going off a percentage.

No one is handling 30,000,000 for free.

International, depending on the destination country might vary.

Even in that case (out of EURO zone)... when you deal with big amounts the bank earns its money from other deals you have with them so you get very good or zero rates for many things.

Of course, if you don't deal much with the bank and suddenly you have an incoming tx of 30 million you will be in deep shit (and I am not talking about fees here).
