‏Finally!! Now you will be able to use bitcoin to buy Starbucks

Tim Draper has apparently never heard of Gresham's Law.  Not that I'm claiming bitcoin is "good money", it's just in a comparison of inflationary vs deflationary widgets, people are going to spend the inflationary ones instead.  This means bitcoin is not really a competitor of inflationary fiat - the typical currency of Starbucks.  The only real use case would then be trying to compete in the settlement and store of value arena - things typically with low transaction flow, and physical metals slaughters shitcoins at that task.

Last shills to push swCoin?

I find it amazing people call bitcoin "cool tech" when it's a linked list invented in 1955 and then a simple Ponzi scheme placed on top of it.

Hmm not sure about that. They run 24/7 so must have some automatic fuelling system. Don’t know how you would do that reliably with coke.  That said I have never owned one so have no real idea.

According to what I read they were so efficient that  they ran 24 h on one "tank" of coke, that was the selling point. But I never used one myself, my grandparents had a gas stove, and we always had a electric stove, so, no personal experience.

EDIT: according to wikipedia they ran on "slow burning coal" whatever that is.

‏Crypto has never existed during a bear market in traditional assets.
BTC was birthed at the very beginning of the largest monetary experiment ever- globally coordinated QE. Ending QE is causing pain
There is a significant chance Crypto is the best performing asset class in 2019

In other Christmas traditions, Mrs V8s' Aga went out sometime in the night. Certain dogs were complaining of the chill by 5am. It restarted easily enough for once, but is useless for anything till tomorrow really.
We do have a spare gas cooker in the back kitchen, but she uses all that for the Christmas meals on wheels for the villages, while I attend to our own lunch in her kitchen and entertain anyone staying plus the drivers who ferry the meals around.
Right, so lots of early morning rallying around later, heaters have been borrowed and showers had in friends' bathrooms.
Can see our own lunch not being ready till 5 or so, which is fine. All very Spanish hours.
Every year we promise ourselves to sort the plumbing, heating and cooking arrangements out in this house, but it would be a huge upheaval and a total waste of filthy fiat moneys, which would be far better spent on certain proper, sound, valuable, store of wealth type things.

Peasant that I am, I had to google Aga.

Now there is another thing I want damn you.

And you can if you want to, they are still made. Aga (short for Aktiebolaget GasAccumulator)is the name of the company that invented them, they used to be huge in Europe. Just google Aga cooker.

It sounds like the oil fired AGAs would be a bit environmentally unfriendly.  They are burning heater oil 24/7. That stuff must be GHG intensive.

I guess they are outdated now, but when they where invented in 1929 they saved huge amounts of coal compared to what was on the market then.

EDIT: I think they are running on coke, not coal.

Interesting discussion around Proof of Stake.  Proof of Stake has no way to hard fork, accordingly issues must be resolved by “community consensus”.

Btc ratio went from 0.025 to .050, damn could of doubled the btc stack SadSadSad

Thank god physical silver chads don't have to worry about dumb things like this.

You are most welcome but please accept my apologies because I had hooked up my old monitor to a new computer and I didn't properly adjust the settings so there is a significant blue tint those two hats.
I believe this looks slightly better (and hopefully not only to me).

Oh, it was actually hard for me to tell until I stared at them side-by-side for a minute lol, but thank you! Very good eye!

Not gonna lie, wish I had come up with that hat first. It's the perfect WO hat.

Thank you, I like to think I have good taste, and good ideas. xhomerx10 really had the artistic ability to bring it to life even better than than my vision though. I’m still impressed when I look at it, the placement of the candles, the transparency, that’s a mighty fine hatter we’ve got there Grin

Now, just let our hat powers combine to summon a bull run of world changing proportions! Mwhuahahaha Cheesy

Will the devs have finished dumping their premine by then?

POS coins are scams. devs mine secretly then sell on exchanges or ICOs. POS is like GMYM
