Ok. See. Right there is one of the reasons I outright ignored JJG.

Even though I'm pretty sure JayJuanGee is a Google chat bot that just cut and pastes things from dictionaries, from an outside, non-biased perspective, I would say he has more shitcoin credibility due to the fact BOB was telling everyone NOT to sell at the top while he was dumping everything.  Then he typed something like "thanks guys, I'm now a millionaire" right after.  It was something resembling an altcoin pump and dump group from the year 2013.

He didn't say it once, but numerous times telling all the other shitcoiners in the thread not to sell while he was.  Lucky for Bob, I seem to be the only person that remembers that.

He's right, you know?

I may not be the smarter guy in the class, but I do have an exceptionally good memory and that's not how things were. Everyone is free to go back and check all Bob's posts of december past year. I don't need to. He announced his plan of cashing out enough for retirement well in advance. And every time after he sold a batch. Sometimes even before.

Also he was millionaire way before. And just the Bcash stash alone that he sold months before the ATH amounted for nearly a millionaire figure.
This tallies with the record.
roach just made up some shit and repeated the lies there^.
Mr mayor was on much safer ground when he recently brought back to the fore that I was wrongly bullish way after the top, but so what?
Guess it's part of the grieving process, to try and impugn others, or lash out, or whatever is going on.

Indeed. Only a complete loser or JJG would beg for that beer. Smiley

I get my NAS drives from Ebuyer.com, or broadbandbuyer.com (if you're in my part of the world).  Ebuyer are huge and soulless so tend to be cheaper - can't say returns are easy.  Broadbandbuyer.com nicer, but they're in M. Keynes, so they have to be.  Both deliver fast and have rates for multiple buys.

No love for Scan and Overclockers?  Tongue

Not used, but I will look into them, thanks!

Special thanks to PoolMinor for compiling this list.

After much thought, in the spirit of fulfilling my promise, and to spite all the haters, I am offering to send 0.000777 BTC (to anyone within 20 pages of my boastful post @ https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/wall-observer-btcusd-bitcoin-price-movement-tracking-discussion-178336 - the below compiled list) if you PM me with a BTC address.

My banter was that if it touched the 8's, I would buy beers.

Therefore, $7 / $8999 == ~0.000777 BTC

PoolMinor should have received his TX already via PM.

My sincere hope is that this shuts up JJG, and I get to knock him the fuck out at the $100k party.

Wow Bob, unexpected.

Still trying to figure out why this collapse. It was in a range of $6000 to $7000 for a while, I guess the resistance at $5800? But that's still a massive drop without any fundamental to explain it. At least last year each collapse was "explained" by some Chinese news or platform hacking, lately nothing notable happened  Undecided
There are several reasons for that.
1. Whales possesing over 100K bitcoins are the main reason we are here now. One of them - the impostor Craig Wright posted a tweet that he doesn't care if Bitcoin will drop to 1000$ (I am not sure that this is his actual tweeter account, but anyway) and sold massively in order to pump his 'child' the bcash fork SV.
2. Several days after the support was broken, it was announced that bakkt will be postponed due to some remarks from CFTC regarding safety of warm and cold wallets. This smells to me like an insider info.
3. Most of the traders are ignorant to the potential of bitcoin. They can only watch diagrams. They compare the diagrams of 2018 and 2014 and act according to the similarities there.

There are other reasons - market manipulation related to tether (some use this gap to trade with 2-3% profit), futures, miners hash war (bankruptcy of some mean more bitcoins for others), the refusal for ETF, etc.  But bitcoin overcome many such periods. I am confident it will overcome this also.  We just need more time to start doubling again. I expect the next bull run to start either with the approval of  bakkt/ETF or 6-9 months before the next halvening.

Thanks for posting, I was actually seeing the whales as the only reason of a massive drop. Regarding SV, it's not going anywhere up at the moment, but perhaps next year (would not mind it if I can get the coins but that's a different issue).

Been observing BTC price everyday since April (because of my job) and the down trend seems to be caused by sole traders (or whales). Not good, guess an ETF could make things interesting again.

Not sure if this picture makes me feel better or not, because we are damn close to break the support (or whatever it is) on the way down.

Hey guys.... Lets not plan the funeral yet pls? First i want to be able to experience a peak ATH as well okay?  Cheesy
So you made an account on the very day of the ATH (temporary, previous) then you buggerred about with mining a few months later.
What's up with you man? did you not buy at the top liek a good noob?
What on earth is your problem... Check my account; i'm around here for years...
true; i didnt believe in bitcoin and missed some good opportunitys, but i've made up for that and am aquiring them thru mining, yes.
Whats your excuse?
Please forgive my rudeness. I can't make sense of the bolded parts. Do you have a link where you say you've been around for years? I must have missed it.

Sure it would be just fine thou Wink

(I'm sure it wouldn't turn into a lord of the flies type scenario... honestly, it will be juuuuust fine Wink )

I'm thinking it'll be more like the Japanese movie Battle Royale.

Perhaps the declined beer money could be donated to a charity instead?

Well, should probably go without saying, I rescind my offer of throwing a $100k party, if/when the milestone is achieved. If I've fucked up an intended good-faith beer offering in this thread so badly due to bad planning/foresight on my part or whatever, I have no business pondering more grandiose "events". Not to mention the considerable scorn I have accrued, bearing down upon me, is beginning to weigh heavily on me.

All my calls have turned out to be contrarian, looking back through the lens of retrospection.

I offer nothing of value to this thread.

I should just delete this account and get on with life in meatspace...
Just stick around and see what you've learned during the next cycle. That's how life should go. Fucking off now would be what the plebs do to stay in the 99%.
