My mood when trading in yesterday

When the price up I was excited to order and then prices have down back, a bad feeling.

How your mood like?

You should learn to have realistic expectations of how these things play out! Smiley

Hey Rosewater - what's a guy got to do to get one of those truly wonderful hats?

Don't tell me I need to hand my pants over...

Volume is still looking nice.

People seem confused and disorientated. Like they just got hit on the head with a hammer, while wearing a hat, before eating it. Roll Eyes

Something is wrong with the mayor. seems confused. too much herb?

He's fine. He's right where I left him. Wrapped in plastic.

Now, can we please stay on topic.

I'm trying to think!

Do you have the silly mustache market cornered yet?

No idea what you're on about. I just come here for the hats.

confirmed

You get a hat.  You get a hat.  You get a hat... everybody gets a hat!

Sounds like BTC-e all over again with their secret bank accounts where you need to specify 'advertising invoice #' in the wire comment field. This was like 5 years ago.

Now I can say that I'm waiting for an ascent hunt, but I wonder how long it will continue in this way. Because there's always a show.

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
The Rosenbridge was only for 2001-2003 Via C3 x86 cpus.  But still.....

These just keep popping up (it takes awhile for independent reverse engineering : no-one paying for it), everything with parallel processing subjected to side channels (meltdown/Spectre). I've been warning about this shit for 10 years and they called me nuts back then. Anyone in the know should not be surprised.

The main difference with the soc chips dropped on the supermicro boards (and other manufacturers) is that they are not vulnerabilities that can be exploited but actual bugs that piggyback and are functional out of the box and reporting directly to a state entity, specifically the people republic of china.

I wonder if they will be accepting BTC as well since they are building the infrastructure to accept that emcash coin?
If not I'm sure there will be a quick portal setup so this is huge news for crypto in general and BTC in particular.

The rosenbridge backdoor is a small, non-x86 core embedded alongside the main x86 core in the CPU. It is enabled by a model-specific-register control bit, and then toggled with a launch-instruction. The embedded core is then fed commands, wrapped in a specially formatted x86 instruction. The core executes these commands (which we call the 'deeply embedded instruction set'), bypassing all memory protections and privilege checks.

The gift that keeps on giving.
