Have you guys seen this?  Seoul Mayor Plans $100 Million Fund to Build Blockchain Smart City. The mayor explained, for instance, the Seoul Metropolitan Government will use the technology to protect part-time workers who don't have labor contracts or are not covered by employment insurance.

Now this is pretty cool

our pants
must be returned acc. to law of Canada

Reluctant as I am, I am compelled to side with Rosewater on this one... for a couple of reasons:

1st - the terms of the request for pants was so whimsically ambiguous that there seemed to have been no premise of a promise for anything.  The cooperation of pants donators seemed to have risen to the level of a gift in which guys (and perhaps gal?) gave up their pants... sucks to be you... if you were thinking otherwise.....  hahahahaha

2nd -  even though the subsequent fall in BTC price almost immediately followed the pants request, and such fall lasted for such a long time, that it became almost impossible, for any reasonable person, to connect later exorbitant BTC price growth to the whole pants shenanigans.  In the end, BTC prices did rise much beyond the expectations of any mere mortal - apart from the few fantasylandia bitcoin bulls, so in the end, there were, arguably, considerable gain potentiality from those participating in the pants offer that might not have happened, absent such enigmatic transaction, ..... just saying...

what is this "brake pedal" you speak of?
Better than 6502. I think the whale that is running the market was a VIC20 owner.

wasnt it a 6510 in the VIC20. it had added some dedicated i/o pins vs the 6502 or something IIRC.

or maybe that was just the C64.. i had both.

fun times but i got more into the TRS-80 line with CP/M and such after.

This reminds me about the time you all sent your pants in for pants tokens to the Mayor wallet and then something happened to the mayor but not the wallet.

Did any of you ever get your pants tokens even?

First we'd like to know what you've done with the mayor. Shortly after receiving the pants and attaining the high office status of legendary, he's mostly disappeared.  I fear the pants have been sold on the black trouser market in Tijuana never to return.  Perhaps an even more nefarious scandal is at play and the mayor needs our help.
Where were you on the night the WO pants market collapsed?

It wasn't just pants from your side of the pond, he took trousers from me over on my side.  If it was scam, it was a multinational scam in different lower garment currencies.

I trusted the Mayor, he seemed a good guy, so you could be right - maybe when he disappeared, someone else took over and liquidated our assets.  Do you think this Rosewater guy knows something?  I never heard anyone got tokens or anything, so we all really deserve to know what happened.

No tokens here either, in fact this is the first I've heard of such tokens.    Here's what we know:
1. The newly legendary BMB still held all the pants he gathered last year before his recent disappearance on July 23rd.
2. Rosewater makes his debut appearance near the end of October with a sizable contribution to bitcoin kicking off the 2017 FOMO. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.23724498
and eventually claims to know BMB and allegedly speaks on his behalf while he's away. Says he has the Mayor captive but will likely release him in the future.

I'm beginning to think this Rosemayor character could be trafficking more than pants.

I haven't seen this mentioned.

Oh wow cool is that really a movie or just some fan made video? I would give a lot of bitcoin to watch a movie like this. Needs to have Dan Radcliff as the protagonist though. Would you like a merit? I am giving you a merit.

The same market, at the same time, but each one has different opinion.
No everyone sees the same thing.

In pretty much all of 2017, like every week, the upward market looked as if it was going to cease and crash any minute. Especially with all the FUD going on.

You'll never know it was bull run until after it's over. In hindsight.

I think the true mark of a bull run is when your grandma/grandpa start asking how they can get their hands on Bitcoin. Grandpa's flashing a handful of hundreds. "You know a guy that can hook us up, right? So do we meet him in a dark alley, in the bathroom at Walmart? I mean, how does this normally go down?"
