I've read only four.

I've read some of them (Kyosaki, Tracy) and they really changed my mindset and helped a lot to get out of boring lazy vegetable life.
But they are for students and housewives, maybe they are too basic for this forum

To have more time is why I bother with Bitcoin investment. I want to retire from this career and spend my time as I see fit. But I need enough net worth saved up to keep my current lifestyle up for the next 50 years (currently in my mid-30s).
Do you HODL your coins since 2011, or you trade them until now?

Here's what I think of your books.

Soon, people will no longer know anything about books.

What about the Mercedes V class vans?

Hmm. Wasn't aware of it.

Initial impression: looks relatively incapable of off-highway use. Tag line: The spacious sedan with the star. But more investigation may be warranted.

Well there's always the Range Rover Autobiography

https://www.landroverusa.com/vehicles/range-rover/autobiography/index.html

If thats too small you could always try a Brabus Unimog.

That's what I started to think that there has to be another form factor that would work because form factors are always changing, yet in the USA, BIG is in so there has to be some variations of luxury BIG that will allow for upgrading and bringing the modern electronics into the mix...  ... because a 20 year vehicle starts to have a lot of lackings in terms of modern upgrades and just wear and tear that had already taken place even just from mere passage of time deterioration... there are also lower entry level new cars that offer standard features that would not even have been offered 10 years ago, based on technological automotive improvements

The modem thing blows my mind because anyone who has been around longer then a decade knows the internet used to be slow as hell.   Australia especially, their internet sucks so I dont understand that exactly.
All I guess there that makes sense is he just used university internet and didnt have much interest beyond that like the codec revisions to normal telephone usage.  But he is interested in crypto protocols somehow, seems a bit off.   How can he be the age he is and not recognise 27mb is a very big file to transmit for the old technology.   Thats not even a crypto question, how long has he used computers for

The BTC price is below 50% tracement level for the last peak to trough decline.  Lows are the 50 DMA area just beaten.   7500 area would be good resistance and 38% of the larger May to June peak into decline move

And never had a home DSL/cable lines back when speed was crap? So the guy who doesn't know the difference between bits and bytes convinced the idiot big blockers that big blocks are safe? Everything seems to check out, nothing to see here.

On a separate note, i agree with Vitalik's statement. If he somehow pulls a clown out of his ass and proves that he's real Satoshi, instead of thinking how great he is, at this stage, people will just realize how dumb Satoshi was. Which is good in a long run, BTC doesn't need saints In Math We Trust! not In Satoshi We Trust

Allright I'm reviving old posts, but I just saw it now.

Good time to go to Turkey on holiday, cheap as fuck, been twice. Food is a bit shit but weather is great & beaches are nice.
Been planning to get my teeth done there next year by a well known company out there, full set of pearly white veneer’s, very cheap when compared to UK/US prices for similar work.
What's the totty like though?

Women in urban Turkey (I mean Istanbul or Izmir) aren't generally covered with burqas. At least they weren't last time I was there - a few years back, but already under Erdogan rule. The ones I met were of surprisingly, hm, liberal customs. Maybe it's because they're used to men who are arrogant and take them for granted? A decent attitude, a little wit and a vague hint of gentleness (gentle as in "gentleman") got me much more than I was expecting, in both quantity and quality.

Maybe it's different in places like Antalya, though.

Not quite scientific, but the last dip went a lot lower on both Bitstamp and Gdax than ScamFinex.  This indicates they're trying to raise the price on the fake exchange (ScamFinex) to dump on the two real exchanges (Gdax and Bitstamp).  If the price went lower on ScamFinex instead, it would indicate they're trying to shakeout longs for a move upwards, but that didn't happen.

This has been my theory about why ScamFinex exists at all - just a fake exchange they can try to manipulate price with to influence price on real exchanges, kind of like the only reason the Comex exists for metals.  Both Comex and Bitfinex have absolutely nothing to do with the real metals or bitcoin market, but they set the price through fraud.

I've been far from bitcoin for a while. It's necessary for me once in a while - to keep some sanity.
Now I'm catching up with the posts, and I'm still 100+ pages behind, around August 8-9.

I know what happened later - yes, on coming back to the WO I've taken a good look at the charts. It's kind of entertaining to see the developments reflected in the posts here. Except for Rosewater's breakdown, I mean.
