What are the reasons that would happen with BTC or BCH in electrum? Ive never seen the full total leave before coming back later
Whether BTC or BCH, every time you spend from an address, the entire amount is spent. Some of it is sent to the intended recipient, an optional amount becomes a transaction fee, and the remainder -- if your wallet supports such (all the successful ones do) -- gets sent back to a change address that the wallet creates.
Electron Cash does not maintain a copy of the entire blockchain. Instead, it queries another server to be the source of this data. You were likely connected to a slow blockchain data server.
I think some other responders forgot their /sarc tags. This is usually detectable without need for such. However, when under stress -- such as when one might be worried about missing funds -- these otherwise obvious implications may not be immediately apparent.

Weirdness, Gemini and Bitstamp switched, Gemini would follow Bitstamp almost always but today the price is following wing gemini. Gemini is a highly regulated exchange I wonder if this has anything to do with the US announcing that they'll look into manipulation.

Can't even call this a proper triple bottom with the price still more than $1300 above first spike and $840 above second spike.
Even the volume is pathetic compared to the last and especially first spike down.
Baseline trend still climbing.

You know I loaded half a bitcoin to the exchange just to be prepared and I was going to pull the trigger on just that little bit to hedge my bets a bit but you know there is a bit of good news coming out, we see more and more positive charts being posted all over the place, forbes posted an article on hashing power and the price isn't wildly moving. I am feeling good today, and if I am feeling good, the market is probably feeling this, fear is down i tell ya. Seriously I expect a few hundred increase today if not more.
You are coming off as one of those weak hands that "they" are trying to shake. Once "they" get you to sell your half a bitcoin, then perhaps, maybe, prices will be ready to continue UP?

Ive been part of this thread for years and know there are some knowledgeable people here. The only reason i was even touching the cash was to convert it to BTC.

Glad the problem was resolved. There is bitcoin stealing malware you really should consider using a Trezor with Electrum to protect your private keys.
