Going further down than expected. Anyone know why?

Because not enough people have been scared enough to sell yet,
there is still to much hope . The down move won't break until we've seen the equivalent of Jan 13-15th  2015 when we saw 200,000 BTC trade on stamp and establish the $159 post 11/13 bubble low. Stamp hasn't seen volume like that (in pure BTC terms) since Nov 16 which is more or less the start of the current uptrend baseline of circa £3k.

In order to dump coins one must have coins
Shocked didn't realize that we crossed $1B in long leveraged on Finex back in December. And added $500MM around April. Now at $700MM  too aggressive those things can break a floor

A small possibility but It may be that people finally realized bitcoin is nothing more than a pump&dump get rich quick ponzi scheme maybe?

Joke joke. That's not it. USD is gaining power against everything now because of the expected rate hikes. USD will get so powerful in the end it won't carry that power and explode.

Anyone crying right now should be banned from talking about crypto when we are above the ath next year.

No no no, "those people were just lucky to get in early".
Been thinking about that recently. I have concluded that there is no such thing as luck.

There are coincidences. Life is one long stream of coincidences. If you have the knowledge and skills to turn coincidence into opportunity, people call you lucky. It looks to me like a defense mechanism of the weak and stupid to protect their own minds.

All good things to those who wait
Rick just came home from work and asked "What the fuck is going on with Bitcoin, man ?"

I just shrugged and replied with "No idea, dude."

What do I tell him about this dump ?

I have no idea what's going on.

I think you already gave him a honest assessment. You've set enough aside to carry you to the next halvening. Light some candles, pour a drink, cuddle, and forget about it for a while.

Nothing to worry about for the long term guys. I assume you’re both willing to HODL until 6-12 months after the next halving?

That’s when the real fun will start, what we’ll see until then is just posturing & whales playing around.

6-12 months after the next halving - 1 bitcoin = over $50,000
We are in a unique situation now. Due to the rising difficulty the reward of the miners is the lowest in history. In 3-5 months their profit will be near 0 or a negative number, which means those with an expensive electricity will have to stop mining. Then the difficulty will drop a bit and those with cheap electricity will continue to mine with a very small profit in therm of cents. They will prefer to hold the new bitcoins waiting for much better price. My prediciton is that a new storm of ATH's will come out of this situation long before the next halvening.

I was crying all night...got tears in my caviar and champagne. I'll have to have the seats in my Rolls replaced because some of the salt from my crying got on the seats and now they are worthless.

jk...went to dinner with friends the other night, they had some big feast with caviar, shrimp, steak, etc. When I saw that their meal was over $100 I opted for the all you can eat chicken wing special for $20. I think they were close to running out of wings by the time I finished.

$100k is possible.

Red line is McAfee's line. And green is mine. I think my green line makes more sense in this case however if we go below $5k (which i doubt but still possible), my line may change its direction to $50k. I'll be happy with either price in 2020.

Maybe McAfee added more FOMO than needed in his calculations?

I love how all these new 4k resolution, 5-6k native contrast TVs that look amazing use PWM that destroy your eyes after looking at them for 10 minutes.  The only option to buy are Sonys, which normally don't have it, or a few Samsungs that don't use PWM when backlight is set to 13/20 or higher.  I think even the $1500-2000 OLED ones have PWM flickering just like Samsung OLED phones have it.

Do you actually notice the flicker?

infofront, please don't quote the. uh, er,

waitaminute. It only spoke about TeeVees. It must be Joos.

There were a number of rumors circulating about Studebaker Hoch recently.
Consider if you will the rumors that have spread that he could write
The lord's prayer on the head of a pin!
Some men say he could write the lord's prayer
On the head of a
Head of a
Head of a pin
(three dog night)
(yeah)

Addendum: Others say he could sing (like Neil Sedaka)
