Want to really see that DAG under stress.

Actually, I would like to see:
* basic wallet functionality like generating a random wallet address
* transactions always confirming
* fool proof solution to avoid address reuse (=vulnerable under IOTA system)

Before that happens, I do not consider it a buy until below $0.50.

The real question is why would you consider it a "buy" at all? Does it feel good to have a slick hypothetically functioning payment system that mimics Bitcoin, but no one ever uses to buy things with because there is zero merchant adoption?

Serious question. I'm trying to understand the delusions and fallacies associated with the altcoin market. So far I'm still not getting it.

Or if you just consider it a "buy" because you think it's going to get pumped one day, then just say so. Penny stocks see their day in the sun sometimes too.
Same kind of reasoning could have been applied to bitcoin at the start.  Not that I have an opinion about this or that altcoin, just pointing out the hole in your rationale.

So my banks just complained. Apparently churning too much money in and out of exchanges has them worried shitless that the taxman will complain. Might have to register as a business to keep trading at the current levels of volume. Not sure I wanna deal with that shit. Especially the part where I have to give up half the profit. Blah.

Bleh. What absolutely boring sideways action.

I have a feeling I'm not going to have my block sold @ $12.5k any time over the next 72 hours by the looks of things.

Would love to be proven wrong. Might need to readjust next short-term target at $11.5k before January 31st.

Hold tight Bob. Got a feeling things will start moving up as of tomorrow.

Good morning everyone.
It appears that btc did a nice +200€ during the night, is that a sign that the FUD is decreasing and the traumatism of the recent 'crash' is almost over for the noob community ?
Or am I too optimistic here ?

Draw your own conclusions.

Done!

You should know better micgoossens.

I cannot explain any topic if you were to ask me directly.  I have to come at any topic spontaneously, from my own energy and from a convoluted angle.   Tongue

By the way, in this last 50% correction, assuming if we were to shoot straight back up to $20k, I am most likely only earning less than 5% on my total BTC portfolio, and what is a BTC going to be worth after crossing the $20k chasm - in light of all the "competing" kryptos is not an easy formula - especially given that we are still quite a ways from $20k, and we have at least two resistance points before we even get there (minimally at about $13k and at about $17k).

I gave you 2 merit points.  I hereby declare this a merit Ponzi scheme.

JJG is a merit source, so maybe he'll be able to pay you 1% daily interest on that merit.  Smiley (But seriously, don't actually...)
quietly unignores JJG

Bitcoin going for a new ATH soon? Or are we still in bear land?

Yea sure we will go to new ATH in a couple of days... Even we may achieve it in a couple of hours, we just need 200-300 billion USD and we are there... What bear land? Bears sleep in the winter...
Seriously either you are too dumb to ask for a new ATH so soon or maybe u are high as fuck lol

It has just begun. This is the slow slide like 2014. Just wait till we see who the new gox is.

You can't be sure about that, the context has changed a lot.

I just did a small google research of 'bitcoin' between dec 2013 and april2014.
I found a lot more bullish news (except the ones about gox) than FUD.

Nowaday you have a clear "Afficionados vs Banksters (a.k.a. govs, warren buffet like dinosaurs of finance, etc...)" battle.

The bitcoin is being known, but we are at the beginning of the curve of adoption. The amplitude of that curve is being played right now.
