Where are this people who trade on Bitfinex? Why they dont post here?

Do they know about the risks? About tether?

I happily trade there.  Do the Tether pundits realize that the USD on every exchange in the world is not actually USD but simply a debt owed by the exchange to the customer?  Why should I care if that debt is represented by a crypto token instead of a line in an Excel spreadsheet ?   Yes Tether might be fractional reserve banking but you can do fractional reserve banking in Excel too.

It's 100% scam, the design is similar to S9/S7 he just replaced the sticker and made a fake stat

Au contraire?

Well Gleb G hasn’t trolled the thread (yet) with scam accusation so chances are it’s legit….

And the attack polluting the blockchain and the mempool with fake transactions continues, accidentally stumbled on this address today:
https://blockchain.info/address/1D5bPm1YAdn9WvAAixht7PbACU3TtkqtJJ

Spitting few transactions a minute and paying the 0.00005 BTC fee for each one. God knows how many of these are out there.

Bleeding bar stewards!
Bitcoin must be broke then. /s

Yeah, there's 60 MB worth of low-fee transactions, dwarfing all the other transactions.

You're never too old to think young.
Good morning Bitcoinland.

No ATH yet today, just consolidating around $8.2k... currently $8218USD/$10457CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Old coins are now worth $9743USD/$12399CAD (Coinmarketcap).

Give it another day or two of consolidation to digest the Tether BS and other crap and we should be ready for another leg up.

Go Bitcoin go.

The last time I used a bank those dipshits tried to increase my interest rate on a student loan without informing me of it.
Then they tried to make it seem like the "better option", even though there was absolutely no benefit from switching the loan over other than a commission to the dumbass at the counter and additional money into the pockets of the bank.
When I destroyed them with the wonders of Mathematics and facts they became very quiet and didn't know how to react. What a fun day.

I wonder how many people they manage to scam with their "nice" attitudes.

So yeah, I hope banks will be obliterated by cryptos.

Lovely to read this. Made my day! The method of banksters are really worrysome. One example is that they offer students more loans than they will be able to pay off in due time. Its just ridiculous. How can you offer students that are not even working or getting any money cash payouts from your credit card (1500$) a week. How are they gonna pay it back? They even call you and write you letters and emails to take this cash out. Weak people fall for it and will be trapped by these loans for a long time.

Me too i got burned in 2013 after gox, and now i fear for a similar   bear market to come back.
When bch attacked btc and was getting the majority of hashes i nearly shitted my pants, as i did a couple days ago for the tether news. I am scared, I think it's normal, and I don't even have a big stash of coins!
For some people, the recent surge made them overinvested in bitcoin. They should maybe sell some. But i won't sell, because like now I could buy a nice thing or two but i can't really change my life with  my few btc, and I still dream of being able to do so one day.
I don't know if I'm delusional, but bitcoin is the only asset i know that you can buy if you want to buy this particular hope.

That's about speculation.

About the fundamentals I still think they are very good, and I think core team is doing well too, and that bitcoin will become a main technology in the future and will be widely used. But i think this is only weakly related  with the current (or future) price.

it wont die but it wont be number one.  and if you think segwit is a solution you need your head read.

call me what you want but i would not recommend to buy bitcoin now to friends and family.  its a long way down and regular first time investors will pay the price again, as the bitcoin mafia buy some more castles.
You might be hero or whatever but
- if you think people will choose features over the name/branding, then you know nothing about marketing
- if you think finance will choose innovation over stability and recognition, then you know nothing about finance

Sorry dude, I think you are misguided

Yer hero, jr member means nothing, you're right.

I could be misguided, I'm not pretending to be the oracle.  Just there is no way on this earth i would recommend buying bitcoin at this time.

I'm 95% that the bear market has just started. and it will be red candles for a long while.

I also expect red candles in the coming months, but you are pushing it too far I think. Seems to be getting common amongst people that were there since the beginning, probably because you have seen an MtGox and you are terrified.
Did you sell your BTCs?

He got 'wiped out' a few years back predicting that the  market was going to go down.

Question is, whats his motivation now or is it a  hacked account?
Butthurt. That's his motivation. Empty catharsis.

or another scam company .. why the comments are  disabled on their yt channel?

Could well be. Considering the appetite for non Bitmain it would be a fine scam to run. Let's wait and see.

Got wiped out a few years ago predicting the market was going up.  if you want to read all my old posts go ahead.  I was leveraged trading on bitfinex when the FBI announced they would sell the silk road funds,  never sure what happened with that, but the market crashed on the news.  yer i got 2 margin calls in a row.

I was too bullish. learned a lot from that time.  I won't leverage trade again.   Invested in Siacoin and waited, back to where i was back then.

Sorry, my bad.
Do you think that's clouded your current judgement and made you over cautious?
With wall street coming, the bull market may have some way to go yet/

maybe i am over cautious.  but im bullish on other things at the moment just not btc.  Besides iv'e seen enough crashes to know when one is around the corner.

You may be right, only a fool would say there is no chance of a crash, but on the balance of probabilities I'd say we are still in bull territory, take a look a Coinbase new signups, still at all time highs this month with 50K/day.
