Be careful : Hacked database of passwords of all usernames is used to change your profile (and so, your password) without email notification (and so, your email linked to your profile).

Please change immediately your password with one that Bitcointalk don't have seen since ... 2014.
Please change email password if 1 of the password have been seen per Bitcointalk in your profile.

Oh sh***. Thanks for the heads up, Meuh.

It seems legendary accounts are the most heavily targeted. I just changed my password - but I don't get it: is it that some cracker gang got hold of an old passwd database, or are they simply able to get new versions whenever they feel like it?

Yep, my acct and a few other people's acct were targeted first...

Oh, and this hoard in question is all profit.

Did you cite to Jamie Dimon why you aren't required to pay any tax/extortion to the Pharisee/Ashkenazi fake Jews at the fed from the profit?

http://www.quora.com/What-did-Jesus-mean-when-he-said-Render-unto-Caesar-the-things-which-are-Caesars-and-unto-God-the-things-that-are-Gods

"The governor was Pilate, who was also procurator, responsible to Rome for the collection of "Caesar's tax" in Judea. The chief priests who sent the spies were confident Jesus would condemn Caesar's tax, for taxation is identical to extortion and a violation of the Commandment of God, "Thou shall not steal?" The Commandment does not exempt the State nor its tax collectors from its unequivocal prohibition."

Clueless!

Dimon also says it can go to $100K. Now I understand why they say stupid people are happier.

"I could care less what bitcoin trades for, how it trades, why it trades, who trades it. If you're stupid enough to buy it, you'll pay the price for it one day. I've also told people that it can trade at $100,000 before it trades to zero. Tulip bulbs traded for $75,000 or something like that."

I buy bitcoin and yes, I "pay the (going) price for it" ... everytime I buy it no less! Imagine that!
Been doing it every week for past 3 years actually not just "one day"

Yeah...Dimon.....

I have an impressive btc hoard that I've kept at a stable number since 2015. So his advice in 2013 at $150 usd would be sell,
2014 at say $250 sell, 2015 at say $450 sell, 2016 say at $850 sell and now 2016 at current $5,575 per btc ..you guessed it ...he says sell. (sheesh)

Oh, and this hoard in question is all profit. Mined and paid off equip to ROI. This is the cream off the top!

So, yeah, say it all goes tulips as he says, I'm out nothing, money into crypto wise anyway, and man'd up and took a chance on the closest thing to a Venture Capitalist,

Black Swan event (maybe) that will ever come in my everyman boring direction....

So wtf, let it ride...the view of only lose what you can afford applies here in my case, and hodl has been good to me so far, (knock, wood) Smiley

I suspect, if he had my number of bitcoins (chump change for him), he'd be singing a different ton. People asr usually only this angry, when they fear something,

and in his job and with his bank role, the stress it seems is making him crack....

Ok, now I get it!
I had a legacy Bittrex account: I could use it for crypto-crypto trades only and my withdrawal limit was huge (more than 500BTC per day). After reading this post I had a feeling they finally implemented the KYC for all and they did it.
My legacy account is considered as new and if I don't fill the Basic verification form I can't do anything else.

Such a bad Sunday news

Ah, that makes sense. Interesting to hear I was not alone in having an elite withdrawal limit.

p.s. For whatever reason my legacy account is still operational.

Make Bitcoin glow with ENIAC

Dimon is a fool & hasn’t got a clue about the path that bitcoin is taking. Anybody who reacts to comments by him is an idiot.

I totally agree. What an ignorant comment. Not everyone has a $30 million annual salary that they can just "not care" about Bitcoin. Such arrogance in his uneducated opinion.

And put them where?

local wallet, cold storage man...read up

Thanks, i've found some desktop wallets but not sure which is the best/safest, what you recommend? And if desktop wallet is a program, a virus on my computer could infect it?

Keep reading, yes, you need to figure out how to create an offline, safe environment for producing your private keys and for signing transactions.  This is the responsibility every person needs to take if they don't want the banks holding their hand.  A lot of people use linux environments on raspberry pi for this purpose.  Whatever it is IT SHOULD NEVER TOUCH THE INTERNET.

If I had a 30 mill annual salary I would diversify some into Bitcoin. But, hey, that's just me.

You're never too old to think young.
Good morning Bitcoinland.

I see we had a bit of a dip overnight... currently $5557USD/$6930CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

AltCash also down... currently $313USD/$390CAD (Coinmarketcap).

No big deal, not nearly deep enough for me to buy.

Dimon is a fool & hasn’t got a clue about the path that bitcoin is taking. Anybody who reacts to comments by him is an idiot.

We used to say, "If you're so smart, why ain't you rich?"

In Dimon's case I have to ask, "If you're so rich, why ain't you smart?"

https://www.ledgerwallet.com/products/ledger-nano-s

https://shop.trezor.io/?h=7472657a6f722e696f

Both of them are excellent choices. Both have comparable (and excellent) security. They are also compatible with each other, in the sense that a recovery seed of a Ledger can be used on a TREZOR and vice versa.

TREZOR is the first and most mature product of the two. I have one and I'm extremely satisfied with it. I highly recommend a TREZOR.
Thanks, i decided to use electrum , i see good reviews about it

Hella strange dip...

Never mind, still a big price rise over recent times. I just hope it doesn’t drop below 5k, it’s acting as a kind of psychological victory atm for me any way Smiley
