It sure looks like it needs to go UP so badly!

It sure looks like we have media coverage on the Florida court ruling about "BTCitcoin is not money!"

I feel like Florida will be buzzing a hype train, where people are encouraged to invest more without consequence!  Grin
I can already see drugs being sold in a more fashionable manner!!! Viva la Cocaina!!!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy ... Florida the new hub for doing white powder business!

I think the market cap on cocaine and all the other heavy drugs are more than 10$ billion.. right?

pot alone is estimated to be 10-100billion dollar market ( its hard to get a good estimate on an illicit market )

^^^ yup ... and from now on "consensus" actually means "unanimous consensus" in crypto-blockchain world ... contentious hardforks are for idiots.

Right on. So... that merge mined altcoin with a 75% discount on blockchain space for signatures called segwit soft fork... I don't consent, so that's settled, then... status quo immutable protocol it is.

no you drooling idiot, that is why it is called softfork, you don't have to consent to it and you can still keep using your old version (classic or w/e you want to pump it as) ... on the main blockchain. Bitcoin will remain open to all misfits, thieves, malcontents, complainers, the worst (and best) of society are all welcome and free to use it.

It's a shame your logic is completely inconsistent, putting your lack of learningz/moral prinicples on full display. You lower the bar for controversial changes to the "immutable" protocol, simply because my zombie node doesn't understand wtf is happening and 5 chinese dudes rubber stamped it? Your friends are running the show now, making these forks nice'n'comfy for you, will they always be? You can soft fork in some really nasty stuff, when it happens, will you think of me?  Kiss

mean while, the effects of a contentious SF are still very much a fucking mystery.

not really, there have been several soft forks already and none of them had 100% support ... there's always some drooling idiot standouts who refuse to see logic or have their own logic 'construct' that escapes all others ... either way, if you don't like the soft fork code, don't run it.

i'll run it when my node no longer functions properly because it thinks >25% of the TX happening on the network are anyone-can-spend TX.

So, if we could all agree on where and when to start shorting ETC, that would be great.

Let's be honest. The only thing you'll be shorting is that homely waitress who failed to promptly deliver your Kokanee.

Bad table service?

Usually the big major global dumps take place in a late Wednesday afternoon or on a Thursday! (Last major one was the Brexit, dump started on a late Thursday on that one!)

It is really quite strange that Bitfinex is down, but we had to hear it first on this thread from a couple of trolls.

Their webpage is just saying:  "sorry for the inconvenience, we will be right back."

WoW... a short message of yours that I can comment on!!! ... Wooohooo!!!

Well usually it is common in this forum... Roll Eyes for you to hear when the price will go down or up before it does that..  Roll Eyes  Cheesy

*Edit: Does this look like a Coil-Super-Cycle ? Huh ... The Super-Coil that was supposed to break on 13-14 July and was delayed ... looks like its back on track with the progress.. hmmm???

I think Bitfinex operators were prudent to let the market cool down a bit, that panic-selling before they tripped the breaker was totally irrational.

In order to dump coins one must have coins
Eth Classic Market Cap is now about 20% of ETH  Shocked

This is interesting, someone with a lot of money wants to punish ETH.Guess that dude couldn't 51% it with all of his hashing power or is it ongoing?

Bottoming in bitcoin hashrate have offered best buying opportunities in the past ... dyood but this is where big money gets made.

In the old days we called it "time to mine or time to buy?" ratio.

In my mind, if ETH hard forks to bail out reckless investors in the DAO, it’s over. It may live on, in some form, and with some market value, but I’m not interested. If they don’t HF to bail out a faulty contract, or if a minority branch survives… that would be more interesting to me.

That was hardly insider informations. Now was it?

Of course it wasn't insider information, I'm not an insider.

Reading comprehension tho, good mayor kern. I was talking about ETH, the one with the bailout.
