This market hedge stuff is pure bullshit and you'd have to be a moron to believe it.

It does however plant a seed for the future in a few minds.

ECB you have two years to change your avatar. I demand you start the negotiations about that asap.

there was almost no reaction to the Brexit vote. All the disaster, crises hedge is just hope.

Even thought the Market reacted dramatic to the Brexit vote, especially the Forex market had remarkable moves. But Bitcoin didn't really react to this major riskaversion move... I kinda feel disappointed in the end.
The Trading Volume on loca bitcoins didn't even show any significant.

The Volume even decreased before/after the vote...

This crash really looks like 2008 all over again. But it's just the beginning there is much more to come.

I corrected this user:

Bitcoin is the best performing currency this year.  I think that's why people are choosing it.

My post got deleted.

Incorrect. The Coin Which Shall Not Be Named is the best preforming currency this year.
By far.
Doesn't even compare. Which, BTW, is an equally meaningless metric. Because Scratch tickets bought at Abdul's Bodega may be an even better currency this year, because he sold a million-dollar winner. Please don't think that buying scratch tickets from Abdul is a sound financial strategy -- it ain't.

If not obvious, this is what leads to trolling: Red team posts a whopper, gets soundly rebuffed by Blue, and, instead of accepting defeat gracefully, Red deletes the 100% factually accurate retort. Blue team feels slighted, and resorts to equally underhanded measures Sad

There will be no more bailouts, the next round is bail-ins ... the trap has been sprung.

I see "The West" is doing jukes ... one is 5$ above China and one 3-5$ ... their impatience with China grows, I'm wondering when it will break?

One must fall.

It's only a matter of time: there's plenty of instability in every fricking market and BTC is not any different. Too many big news lately that need to be digested.

The Pound is crashing! ... 1 Trillion buy/sell wall in place from both sides set by their Central Bank. Those rigging motherF'ers are keeping the price tight like a clammed up p******...  Cheesy

I understand having 1 trillion GBP to sell, but where do they find USD to buy 1 trillion GBP? Last time I checked their foreign reserves were something like a few hundred billion.

I don't know, but the pound has had its second big crash in a week, and there are forecasts it could go down to $1.20. Bitcoin jumped up at the same time the pound crashed, and I doubt it's a coincidence. If the pound crashes further there could be further big jumps up for Bitcoin later this week.

Just cam into my mind:

VW now tries to move to more e-cars they found out old Diesel is crap

Banks now try more blockchain, found out old SWIFT,....  is crap.

The full quote is....

"But we're not there just yet. We also have to realize the risk of loss in BTC is 100%. We are cognizant of that and have allocated our capital to BTC accordingly."

Yes but what is the percentage that it will lose 100%?  I think it is too small to even consider.
