Glad to see I was wrong about the liquidity sweep up. It seems like it wasn't a counter move, and this leg is up indeed. Short liq fest begin...?

Goonies never say die.
Gotta say my favorite is (was) gentlemand. That dude's ingenious, hilarious posts always lit up my day.

I never read many of his posts myself, but based on his last one, maybe he's still out there waiting for 100K?... I assume we shouldn't have to wait too much longer to see if that is true?  Cool

I'm starting to miss the old WO
They are all still out there.

~snip~

See you at 100k.

Here's the user data from Paashaas sorted in descending order by days missing

List of names

Amazing... I have had direct exchange on WO with at least 80-90% of users on that list...

...they are gone, and yet I'm still here.

Other than a handful of strong hodlers, the rest are a bunch of paper-handed lame trolls and day tarders.   Grin

I always enjoyed Stolfie and roach, and their discussions with the other WOers  was quite fun to read

I think Stolfi missed the chance to make a name for himself. Even as a naysayer, as a professor, he could have been a media 'expert'. He did have a few genuine insights too.

I remember someone pointing something similar out to him.

He was also early enough "to get some in case it catches on" and doing really well. But in the end he was only here for the argument.
A true academic, professional, but somewhat short sighted in certain ways, too preoccupied with his own thoughts, unable to adequately anticipate the social responses of others (in this case towards Bitcoin)

Only for them with a little poker interest

Imagine this happens to you

So fucking gross!

I appreciate bad beat videos of large size. I didn't realize they did commentary for online poker, but then again, why wouldn't they. What's also fun is that the poker game hauls along at the exact same speed regardless of the size of the pot. In real events, the dealer slows down to add to the dramatic effect once the final table is reached. Online poker don't give a fuck how big the pot is. Kinda reminds me of Bitcoin.

The WSOP has had online tourneys for a few years now.

I have never played online and am literally at the casino right now and play live games for days just about every week.

I think that's because having programmed for most of my life and knowing I've never written anything i cant get into i assume others do the same.

I found it incredulous that people I told when it became popular that's its too easy to cheat were shocked when it was found that sites were cheating.

We might be going down short term.

Maybe, but it sure feels like the train is leaving the station.

Ouch. That long antlered doji smells like a liquidity grab (stop hunting).
We might be going down short term.

Maybe, but it sure feels like the train is leaving the station. Stocks are going crazy, the election is right around the corner, fed is loosening… I have a feeling the market is going to turn into a runaway train until the music stops and people start looking for chairs. Feels exactly like 2007 to me right now. The only question is if Bitcoin collapses with the market when the recession takes hold, or does it become a lifeline that goes parabolic while everything else crashes.
