BOE selling gold in 1999-2002 at the average price of $275/oz = Germany selling btc at 54-59K with an average price of 57(?)K.
Both-historical follies.

Gold went up since then 8.73X (inflation-adjusted 4.98X) since vs SP500 4.1X (inflation adjusted 2.1X).
8.73X for bitcoin from 57K is almost exactly 500K..js
IMHO, we will get there and much faster  Grin

Apparently a lot of excitement is about this: Bitcoin is being adopted as a strategic reserve:

It would suffice the FED buys at market price all the bitcoins from the DOJ.
God candle if true.

Because both Linux and MacOS are generally more secure and don't necessarily require anti virus trash.

Don't kid yourself.

Apple software is not open source. Trusting Apple to do a better job of protecting you than Microsoft is folly.

If anything, Apple's lack of anonymity makes you more vulnerable.

The main reason for MacOS's perceived lack of need for anti-virus is because malware writers target the larger market share.

I have read this often. But the second reason is apple used a lot of linux to build macOS and it is harder to hack than a windows.

That's wrong.
Apple used FreeBSD, not Linux. They thankfully contributed to quite a bunch of opensource projects like cups, but their OSX is a forked off FreeBSD sources.

..and Linux has become a similar cancer to Windows since most distros adapted to systemd (whos author now works at Microsoft) .

Correct, but they decided to redact more and more of the BSD subsystem to get replaced with their own crap, with each upgrade since 10.4 (Tiger, wasn't it?).
At 10.8 or .9 it became such a joke (for me and my purposes, as a unix geek) and i needed to run some windows-only sound engineering software, so i gave Windows a chance again.

What the fuck is wrong with you?

Well Bob, if after close to ten years of me posting on this here famous thread, you haven't figured that out yet, I really can’t help you.
Here's a suggestion... go check my post history. Added bonus, I haven't deleted most of it.
Hope all is well with you, Rick and the ranch.

Every Mac I ever installed linux on worked great. I never owned a Mac pc or laptop that would not work well on linux.

I also have had huge issues trying to hack in windows to a Mac.

I rated my hack list a while back

Linux = the best
Mac = 2nd
windows = 3rd

no iOS or android just pc and laptop's in my rating.

we dropped off the 67k level back to 66k

Back on home soil after a week of grass touching.

Market looks strong & ready for another attempt at making new all-time highs.

Eyes on $72,000 -- once we're past that, I don't see the #Bitcoin  train stopping anytime soon.

$66,000 nice !
With upcoming news next week and a chart like this
$74K would soon be a strong support
Just 10% more and we seeing a New ATH
It was definitely worth the wait.

Thanks to Germany I was able to get a good amount under 60k

Now at 67k lets top up in the 70's this weekend so my sell ladder kicks in.

My small sell ladder starts at 71.1k ends at 82k.

Under 4% of my hodl.

People blame Microsoft because that is who they trust to keep their system secure. They paid Microsoft for a solution, and when issues arise, it is natural to look to them for answers.  Yes, CrowdStrike might be involved, but the average users have probably never even heard of the CrowdStrike company.  nor do they care about it.

Not sure why people blaming Microsoft when the problem is obviously with CrowdStrike and their shitty antivirus?

Imagine you hire a security guard (Microsoft) for your house and theres a break-in (security issue). You wouldnt blame the guard's security camera company (CrowdStrike), even if they might have malfunctioned.  You paid the guard to keep you safe, and thats who you should hold accountable.

Very interesting to see a pump exactly today.

More confidence in de-centralisation after centralised anti virus trash shows chaos?
People bored during that chaos and focusing on BTC?

Or Both?

@LFC_Bitcoin

I had no idea Donald Trump was speaking at the Bitcoin conference in Nashville.

MBPA!!!

MAKE BITCOIN PUMP AGAIN!

Things are starting to look extremely bullish. Donald Pump speaks at The Bitcoin Conference in Nashville next week. We will probably pump hard next week, a Bitcoin friendly President likely to be in power of the strongest nation on Earth. Bitcoin ETFs swallowing up supply, guys we are going to be very wealthy.
