some people sell his bitcoin and withdraw his dollar/Fiat because "the price" is very dangerous

In autumn 2014 the price rose to about 420 then crashed. That makes it a point of resistance because people still remember it. A parabolic rise can't continue indefinitely, it has to start heading downwards somewhere and points of resistance often herald the start of a down trend. It could go either way here.

Yes. I think the Bitcoin ecosystem will move to a big-blocks version whether Core updates or not.

However, there would be a lot more price volatility and bad publicity the longer Core Dev continues with the "settlement layer" fantasy.

Yeah we get it. We didn't reject it. We're "just not ready".

Seriously, take your meds.

And who exactly are you?

Good to see you're on top of things.

Bedtime for me right now. I'll be up in 7 hours or so.

Any ideas where we are heading during these next 7 hours and any guesses what it'll be when I wake up?

My guess based on absolutely nothing is $415 (U.S price not CHI)

Well we have slowed down, volume as well.  I no longer feel we are inevitably going up.
Yes that's correct, it is a feeling.

Some of the giant chinese mining pools are currently centralizing the validation of every transactions they mine.

Do you find that to be a concern?

I do. And I recall some of them paid dearly for that recently, so they might be thinking about it too.

What part of "they're still doing" did you not understand?

You'd think they would've stopped by now if really it wasn't profitable.

But no, we'll just pretend that a couple of dropped blocks undermined weeks and months of cheating the system.

"That'll make em learn"!

Roll Eyes

So we should be really afraid of miners solving blocks that will be rejected by the rest of the network?

You guys have such interesting concerns.

The Blockstream/core attack failed. Whether their implementation will be ready for the coming txs explosion or not is irrelevant.

Probably a stupid question, but...

Is there a significant amount of arbitrage between Huobi and Bitfinex?  The difference is about $50.  It wouldn't seem like it would take much to buy on Bitfinex, sell on Huobi, wash, rise, repeat.

You gotta think about the fiat part.
If you want to arb between US and China you are also trading USD and CNY.
Depending on what you want to do and up to which volume it could get quite complicated.

Would you have to go back to fiat every time, though?  Couldn't you:
--deposit dollars in bitfinex
--buy bitcoin
--transfer bitcoin to a Huobi bitcoin wallet/account
--sell bitcoin on Huobi for CNY

-------------oh.  nvm.
