Since Gemini is clearly leading this price increase, do you think the Twins are pumping this? I mean a million dollars is pocket change to them, maybe the are just buying it in small amounts each day and driving the price up. Considering how much they already hold in bitcoin it would basically be paying for itself in the long run.
The run up from $10 to $266 contained a lot of jumps due to a few rich people buying large amounts of bitcoins. Friends of the twins might have some confidence in going through their exchange.

The price has been rising slowly for a month now. There's just not enough selling pressure at the moment.

well, they had plenty of time already to acquire 'institutional' clients, since it is not because the website launches that they did not prepared upstream for important users to use the platform, even before any public launch.. anyway.
agree that interesting times lies ahead.
i get this feeling the rest of the financial world, as it obsessively misdirect people into 'blockchain technology' propaganda, is on the edge here and things are accelerating somehow as the end of the year approaches. will their status quo stand a couple more year? hard to say.

A steady increase might bring in new money but they have no guarantee it would go to them and not some other exchange.
I'm talking about the value of the coins they already own. Every dollar the spend to drive up the price in general, would come back in profit to them many times over if they are only buying small amounts to drive up the price. I mean they allready own a shit ton of Bitcoin.
You might be right. In the past, Bitcoin exchanges have been known to manipulate the price a little.

We haven't had a $10 retracement since Sept. 22. if this pump goes on much longer, I'm gonna have to take some profits. 5 green candles in a row on the weekly and 3 day charts. starting to look overbought.
