Make Bitcoin glow with ENIAC

Not according to www.blockchain.info/pools

I see antpool has been silly lucky lately without any extra hashingpower. It looks like it's the same for the whole network. Nothing has moved. KnC is still around 5-6%.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"

I'm working on a model for the pain threshold of btc investors. What is the point at which you sell everything, and refrain from telling anyone you know that you even flirted with such a thing? I acknowledge that either of these things could happen, but what is the price point that both do?

Kind Regards,

Surely, I am irritated by the long stagnant price; however, I remain a buyer and holder, unless there is some kind of negative change in the fundamentals of bitcoin.

Even though, in the bitcoin world, in the last couple of years, there has been some political drama, there have NOT really been any material and/or substantial negative changes in the bitcoin fundamentals.... therefore, buying and holding seems to remain a decent strategy.

In other words, there are some people, including myself, who are NOT directly motivated by price (in terms of getting scared of long term lingering low prices).  Also, largely, bitcoin price really as been lingering in the lower $200s territories for 6 months, but that fact does NOT really break bitcoin or undermine its utility in any meaningful way.

Doom: no date for Gemini or ETF
Boom: Gemini and ETF launching

All eyes are on this tonight I believe.

Kraken announce their new "Dark Pool" feature for buying/selling large amounts of bitcoin without being visible in order books - is this just the same as the "hidden order" option in Bitfinex?

Will the trades themselves be visible in the trade log (or in a separate trade log), after they have been executed?

Kraken announce their new "Dark Pool" feature for buying/selling large amounts of bitcoin without being visible in order books - is this just the same as the "hidden order" option in Bitfinex?

We are pleased to announce the Kraken dark pool, a new feature that allows clients to discreetly place large bitcoin orders and execute against similar sized orders at potentially better prices. Kraken is now one of the few exchanges offering a dark pool for bitcoin. The Kraken dark pool is an order book not visible to the rest of the market. Each trader only knows their own orders. Traders can anonymously place large buy or sell orders without revealing their interest to other traders. Typically, outsized orders, when seen by other traders will cause the market to move unfavorably, making it more difficult to fill the order at the desired price. This unfavorable price movement may be avoided in a dark pool.

Kraken will charge an extra 0.1% for dark orders. Dark pool trading is available to all Kraken clients with accounts verified to Tier 2 or higher (for information on the account tiers click here). The minimum dark order size is 50 Bitcoins and only limit orders are supported. The dark pool will accept orders for trading between Bitcoins and EUR, USD, JPY or GBP. Dark pool pairings are designated by a “.d” extension (e.g. XBT/EUR.d or XBT/USD.d). If you are interested in getting started with dark pool trading, login at https://www.kraken.com[1] and choose one of the dark pairs in the intermediate or advanced order forms.

Thank you for choosing Kraken Bitcoin Exchange.

We've been largely tracking the bear scenario, but recent movement upwards is bringing us closer to the bubble at the end of 2013. I think price is still at the tipping point

Cute that they still wear the ID wristbands from the maternity yard.  I suppose that, if they took them off, they would no longer know who is who.

We were discussing the winks talk before getting sidetracked by flans. Did they have anything interesting to say last night or was it all hand gestures and bumbling?

Regardless of their news, it'll be delivered in a somewhat lumpen manner no doubt. They should just buy the guy that played them in that film and control him from the audience via an app.

This picture Norway posted of them put me off the idea of actually watching the livestream. I'll get the short version here after it's over and miss out the waffle and hand gestures. All I really want to know is when is their exchange opening.

edit: Link to livestream of event. I would watch it but can't stand the hand gesturing and bumbling

I know what you mean, lol!

I'm going to watch it. They might have some new, relevant info about the pastrym of the future.
