No pump before the Sweden's Nasdaq addition of BTC

Damn, i wouldn't wanna be a leveraged bull right now. It's comin'...

meaningless pic
Who cares about some tiny exchange in a tiny country? Only ETF and stock markets collapse may create another bubble for btc but before that USMS has 40k btc waiting to be sold before the end of june as they promised, so sub 200$ is coming pretty soon.

Indeed, Sweden ETN (KNCminer) is same as the DigitalBTC (Australian bitcoin mining company Digital CC Limited) trading in Australian Securities Exchange, they are all just penny stocks like GBTC trying to dump as more ways as possible to cut losses, read this:

DigitalBTC Stock Falls to 20-Month Low as Bitcoin Price Plunge Hurting Earnings

DigitalBTC Selloff Prompts Questions from Australian Securities Exchange

Sub 200$ it is. Beside USMS 40k and AU government 24.5k, don't forget there are also millions of bitcoins stolen from Mtgox,Evolution dark market, firedcat ASICMINER & AMHASH, everyday IPOs etc are all waiting to sell. So may be sub 100$?

I dont think market makers will allow price to fall below 100$ but 100-130$ is the obvious target due to long term ultrasolid support.
Only a blind steer cannot see what kind of squeeze is coming from market makers:

Can you post a link to where they said they would hold another auction before the end of June? Are there also upcoming auctions in other countries like Australia? I remember the Australian government seized a lot of Bitcoins, but I cannot remember what they said they intended to do with them. They were discussing dumping them on the open market, although I'm not sure what they finally decided.

http://www.coindesk.com/us-marshals-bitcoin-auction-q1/

"In the coming months, the USMS is expected to sell 94,336 BTC, worth $17.5m at press time, as it liquidates the remainder of the bitcoins previously held by Ulbricht, who only yesterday admitted to founding Silk Road as an “economic experiment”."  ~50.000 has been sold at the last auction in March.

Stockholm, SWEDEN (April 28, 2014) - XBT Provider AB (publ) announced today the authorization of Bitcoin Tracker One, the first bitcoin-based security available on a regulated exchange. XBT Provider is launching this financial instrument to meet the needs of investors' growing appetite for exposure to Bitcoin prices.

Looks like the Monday we were waiting for is here. CCMF?

You really need to deal with your Messiah fixation. This Swedish play is just a small scale variation on the GBTC wheeze - novel ways for those already invested in bitcoins to try and recover some of their losses by dreaming up convoluted 'financial instruments' ( derivatives)  to attract next generation suckers.

All the time you are ignoring the fact that bitcoin as a means of value exchange - its raison d'ettre - is not succeeding as it needs to. Unless you address that shortcoming, all these etf's and \wall street' ploys are just so much lipstick on a pig.

They certainly wont make you rich.

Any ideas if this will give us a decent pump?

Given that this is backed by KnC, I would imagine that the demand will initially be met with their own mined coins. TBH this look to me simply like an alternative route for them to sell those coins, or rather fee-incurring paper proxies of them. Quite a smart move really, particularly for them  Cheesy
If there is genuine decent demand for the product going forward, clearly that would be bullish and would necessitate buying more coins on exchange.

But the news is already out there and should be more or less priced in so I am expecting very little impact from it, unless it is an overwhelming instant success or another damp squib.

TBH, I'm leaning towards the latter ...

I doubt KNC has enough coins if only small % of the money, which is used for hedging gets into. Also question is if KNC will offload their holdings at those prices.

What holdings?  Sam Cole was very explicit that they sell all mined coins every day.

The anticipation on what is happening tomorrow should give some pump today.
I believe we will get to ~241 on that speculation alone.

What money you are referring to here ?

Investors in stocks, etfs... are used to hedge? They want to have wide portfolio and shares from XBT Provider can get part of this. Not saying there will be rush into, just speculating Wink

Oh ... that money   Cheesy
Peronally I would have called it diversification rather than hedging but that's kinda splitting hairs  Wink
