Apart from the bubble hundreds of years ago tulips and other flowers are still doing well today. Once the initial idiocy died off the tulip and other flower industries went on to become the multi billion dollar a year markets that we have for flowers today.

Right now I'd say Bitcoins are the rare 'flame streaked' tulips and the alts represent all the other flowers and weeds. They all ended up worth similar amounts apart from the weeds which aren't worth shit.

Buying to lower cost average, think it's rather simple, people been on this ride many many times, smart ones pick up on patterns. Of course non of this applies if you believe that BTC has died once again
