we may have hit a local bottom, also some fiat should have reached the exchanges just now after the microsoft announcement (don't know what to expect from this, not much... but still worth considering)
Keep on being optimistic.
I don't think the market gives much about microsoft.
I'm pretty sure we still go down.
But hey, don't listen to me. Usually I'm wrong.

Next 24 hours are extremely critical.
I expect a dramatic price drop to at least $315.

But hey, don't listen to me. I usually get everything wrong.
You'd better trade the opposite and make profit.

Well, here we go!
Glad that I was already short Grin

Market look has changed a lot in 24h. Remains to be seen how hard the crash will be.
Did you take a look at my latest in masterluc's thread? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=274613.2300
No, did not look there before.
My crystal ball is telling me my own predictions based on a lot of (technical) stuff.
I used to put some emotion into it as well, but that did not really worked out very well Wink

Now I just trade on some predetermined values and more or less try to stick to it, unless I spot a new fundamental.

Monkey now wants an upturn on Thursday/Friday, about the same time as S&P, but after oil, which Monkey tells me will reverse first, of the three.  Monkey also thinks long bonds will reverse late in the week.

Monkey does not like gold anymore.  Not in December, anyhow.

@blacky90 : I don't know. I like skinny women (the fashion model kind) but I don't find the content of that picture attractive at any way / rate.

Why won't xrp stop rising?

XRP is easy to pump, because the only "bad news" in Ripple is Ripple itself.

I don't get it?!
That's marketcap. Nothing more, nothing less.
See here: http://www.investopedia.com/articles/basics/03/031703.asp or here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Market_capitalization if you're not familiar with it.

Edited to fully respond to the above:  Sorry, but it was simply not implied anywhere that "all 13.6 million bitcoins are traded daily on the exchange".

The bitcoins traded for fiat are what determines the price. When the market cap of Bitcoin went from $1 billion to $5 billion do you honestly believe that $4 billion worth of money flowed into Bitcoin? Or was it perhaps a small percentage of the coins on the exchanges that were purchases raising the price?

Finally a different poll again.
I almost voted for the 20-30% swings, but then I panicked and chose the last option Wink

it looks like a textbook pump: look at the graph of last year (at bitstamp), see the  high volume with little volatility in the plateau that lead to the rise, that's the pumper accumulating for months
