I think that this is currently quite exciting. What makes it exciting, is that no one, with enough weight in the crypto market, has a proper plan. Usually a lot of unexpected things happen when people don't have a plan.
But still, it's not a bad chance for those to gamble, who like to make their bets randomly.

Bitcoin has proven itself unpredictable so far. If a rally up occurs, it will surely won't based on news though. After Microsoft's announcement short rally, I'm a bit disappointed to be honest. I'm long anyway, so I guess I will need more popcorn...

The fact that we are no longer seeing miners dump, even though they could book those losses at the end of the year for tax purposes, is very telling.
Many mining farms seem to be based outside the US, to profit from cheaper electricity and/or cold air. Presumably, even those that are owned by Americans have found ways to avoid US taxes. If so, they would not have that pressure.
