Ok... I will bite.
Why so negative? What is "so tiresome?" Life? Are you depressed?
I doubt that theymos even close to perceives it the way that you supposedly do. Furthermore, you seem to have little to no appreciation regarding the value of goodwill that is created on a forum and the sometimes balancing that is attempted when change goes into effect.
So now we’re talking about theymos, for himself, right?
To be fair, I think the merit system was imposed to him by the alphabet agencies.
That makes a lot of sense.
NOT! Don't you realize those same complaints were already made in the beginning of the merit system in during quite a bit of 2018?
So? What’s your fucking point? I’ll spell out W-R-O-N-G any day of the year.
Well. My suggestion is that you are not raising anything new - except there has been further passage of time, so yeah, maybe there can be some evidence that can be seen now that was not seen in 2018 and/or 2019 when questions/concerns related to the merit system were being more intensively raised and argued.
Nonetheless, I doubt that some of the additional facts from a couple more years of implementation of this merit system helps to support your suggestion that it should be abolished rather than maybe perhaps some modifications and/or tweaks could be made, including rotating of merit source members more frequently or something like that, if you might be able to inspire theymos to perform such labors and also inspire him into believing that some kind of a tweak - even if rotating of source members might be potentially more benefits than costs.
Yes, we are coming upon almost 5 years (anniversary) of the merit system.
Five years too many.
I doubt that your nihilistic assessment is going to get you very far because when you approach theymos, he may well not be able to relate to your burn-down-the-house framework and largely be able to assess that you are not really raising anything new, meaningful and/or important... and then he will swat you off like the pestering lil nat that you are
(#nohomo) hahahahahahaha.
I don't know.
That’s right, you don’t, you need a soul for that.
Yes.. Quoted out of context.. so therefore you miss the framework in which I am suggesting that maybe there is a lack of facts and/or logic in your assessed issue and even a need for a solution.
Just for clarification (and ease of reference), here's the context in which I said "I don't know."
For shills, spammers and scammers are on the rise because of that very reason. Fake merit trust.
Maybe some tweaks to the system is being considered? Maybe rotating merit sources? I don't know. I don't really care that much about your seemingly passion issue.Don’t you have some shitcoin thread to go and shill your guts out?
WTF happened to you for real
This forum seriously breaks people
Yeah. if you get involved in bullshit battles, you are much more likely to get broken.
Sorry for your loss, I suppose.. but you seemed predisposed to intermeddling into areas of little to no significance**.. but hey, you do you.
**By the way.. I won't deny that each of us has a right to choose where, when and the extent to which to involve ourselves in shitcoins, forum politics or whatever.. and sometimes there may be difficult to foresee consequences with some of those kinds of activity/involvement choices.Well since you asked, yes I do have a Shitcoin thread but nobody visits the forum for information anymore so I gave up shilling here. Its all bounty hunting, sig campaigning, and a handful of actual bitcoin enthusiasts, a few of which continue to post in this very thread.
Back when times were good SHITCOINs (among other tokens of mine) used to fly off the shelves and I never had to shill anything... They would sell like hotcakes on their own accord. I was seriously surprised at the amount of demand there was for "vintage assets", aka proto-NFTs created before it was a popular thing to do. Of course interest has died down along with the broader crypto market but I'm pretty sure it will all come roaring back at some point.
I thought it would be funny to run a Shitcoin signature campaign, and it was indeed very funny to me, but I forgot how humorless this place can be sometimes.
Nowadays I mainly stick to Twitter since that's where the real action is and I have my own Telegram group where I've managed to attract a competent group of bright, positive-minded people that have helped make shuffling through the bear market all the more withstandable.
Why are you posting in this boring place then? You soliciting forum members so you can scam them on some other platform?
What i have learned from "loud children" is how to ignore them
#justmytwosats
EDITed a typo. today i make lots of em
Hahaha
I am not opposed to the ignoring them tactic, yet sometimes they need to be spanked, censured, corrected (or redirected), locked in a closet (aka timeout), and/or other tactics that I have not currently considered, too.
