I just dont fucking get it... the volume is very small, yet we are plummeting.. i guess the good news is that it wont take much for it to go back up. but we are hearing good news..paypal/ebay taking bitcoin. companies paying their employees in bitcoin.. you would think bitcoin should be closer to 800 rather than 400..

I wonder if the hack has anything to with it.. I've given up trying to figure out why bitcoin dips and goes up..

Should be at $5k, no question about it,
it really makes no fucking sense as you say

I guess it's just that markets can stay irrational for longer then you can stay sane or whatever the saying is

Dont you guys owe me an apology???

In all seriousness, unless some new asks start coming up, this drop is as unconvincing as the rise.

Derp, you never told me where you got that ratio data from.

Oh, sorry. Most data can be found quite easily here: http://coinorama.net/

Best website IMO for a quick check of the conditions.

P.S. Bid/Ask Sums only goes back a few months, but the ratio goes back quite a bit farther. Not totally sure why.

those fuckers at paypal, at the end is just another BitPay... much noise about nothing.

Not true. Brands matter. Many more people know PayPal.

You appreciate BitPay and PayPal were started by the same person: Peter Thiel.

lol ok sure.

I'm imaging a Chinese trader waking up and reading 'satoshi ...something... hacked' on some poor man traduction and jumping to conclusions.

The fees in this example are completely ridiculous. It is clear Jorge never bought Bitcoin. $5 to buy a Bitcoin? Get real.

Sigh. The values don't matter.  Can't you really see that there are MORE bank transfers when going through bitcoin?

Only if you make a bank transfer and buy bitcoin for every single bitcoin purchase you make. Which would be insane. Most people buy their BTC in bulk, then use them as currency or hold them with the idea of being a store of value.

"WHAT!? Best news in the history of Bitcoin? BETTER SELL ALL OF IT!"

I don't understand traders sometimes.
