Why does igorr keep on saying: This user is currently ignored. Anyone?

He is one of our most intelligent users on here. His contributions, brilliant as they are, however tend to move the markets through their sheer relevance and originality in a way that is unpredictable, maybe even dangerous.

It was decided that it would be for the better of all of us lesser users if we are spared the radiating intelligence of his posts, and thus he has been placed on ignore by most. A sacrifice none of us made lightly.

The candle that burns twice as bright...

Nice ones... Smiley

Trusted Bitcoiner
I have to say, things are looking bullish. Missed out on quite a bit of this action. So uh, when do guys think we will get a nice correction, maybe the high 400s or low 500s? I'm sure we could go a bit higher here first but seems like I might be able to do better for a long term purchase.

good chance the correction, when it dose come, will bottom around this price or maybe higher... wouldn't be surprised to see a small parabolic rise to 720 followed by a correction that  quickly bottoms at 600-580, then what? up Up UP! again  Cheesy

This is the land of wolves now & you're not a wolf
It feels good to be able to look at the 1week historical chart and start to see some serious positivity (if that's even a word) in the way things are starting to shape up Smiley

Off-topic: DRK suspended at Polo - forked / f***ed.

Anther one bites the dust?  Still on sale at a quarter of today's price at Cryptsy, but a bit of a lead balloon right now.

Just bid a 10 satoshi for a few in case it survives Smiley

Lol. 40% so far? I expect it to be down with Auroracoin in the next 36 hours.

Cryptsy have no shame; still running a market in a forked coin....   The 'masternode' con scheme went wrong, some people have lost big bucks.

Still trading at 0.014 on Cryptsy - but that is somewhat 'optimistic' - I think it is just a lack of perfect knowledge in the marketplace.

Thought:
Things like this make you realise how brilliant Satoshi Nakomoto was:  so many try and so few get even close to the massive paradigm shift he conceived of and created.

Mindblowing.

I would agree with those saying that we are having another bullish consolidation period before moving up above 600. It seems inevitable looking at the current formation, and given bitcoin's history!

I think it should be interesting to see what happens in a few hours when China wakes up.

I sure hope its up Smiley

Asks have mostly leveled off on stamp but so have bids..

Still, the orderbooks look much more bearish than they did before.

A tough time to be an altcoin investor. Hopefully it will all flow into Bitcoin.

I got Satoshi's avatar!
Not sure if this has been posted here, but there's an interesting correlation between the timing of the story and the beginning of the recent price rise (20th May):

@Jorge
I'm curious. You're an academic, and a scientist, I believe. So any theory you hold must be falsifiable in order to be viewed as credible.
Under what criteria would you entertain the idea that you might be wrong about bitcoin, or cryptocurrency in general?
I answered this some 6,223,678,221 pages ago on this thread.  "Success" will be when bitcoin (or crypto) gets used by a large number of people because it is cheaper/faster/safer/easier/whatever than the alternatives.  Not because one has a BTC stash to burn, not to support the cause, not to evade taxes or make illegal payments, not because it is hip, not to speculate with, not out of curiosity, etc.

Offline key/address generation and asymmetric crypto-signing of "digital checks" are undeniable wins that I am sure will be widely adopted eventually.  As for the rest of the bitcoin protocol, and the Satoshi blockchain in particular, I am more skeptical than ever.

What's notable is that Trolfi admitted he couldn't be argued out of his position, so only empirical evidence will convince him.

So taking part in discussion is no longer useful for him. He needs to sit back and wait.

It's worse than that. A man who can't be persuaded by logic or reason is attempting to persuade others by logic or reason. That necessarily means the only people he could convince are people more open to logic and reason than he is himself. It's a hypocrisy that speaks more to the sorry state of academia than to anything else. These professors are not teaching students how to think. They are telling them WHAT to think.

I think they are called TERRORISTS Huh
