Observation: TERA didn't post since the breakout.

Recollection: TERA said he's planning to take a break from trading, and prefers to do so while being (mostly) in XBT.

Conjecture: TERA bought back his coins back 2 days ago, front-running the breakout, causing the rally we see at the moment.

(as you can tell, I miss KOTOR Cheesy)

Really looking forward to get some input from TERA regarding this,.  Cheesy

That was the most important breakout moment and it was completely broken.
The shape of this rise is very different than the pump and dump bull traps that we had all throughout this bear market.
Obvious trend reversal is obvious.

You say bull trap.

Seems legit.

lol

I'm sorry, I should have been clearer when I said 'Bull trap'. What I meant was:

Bull trap.

I just figured the context made it as obvious as the trend reversal.

It seemed obvious to me

breakout coming.....

Well, as expected the breakout did happen right on queue on the pennant convergence. Unfortunately support didn't rise up behind the breakout this time.

This breakout and drop has broken the repeating pennant formation that was happening and we have entered a new phase of the rise. I expect a cup and handle to form shortly.

Dumb broad
Where is TERA amid this froth?

Yup. Good question.
She's gone quiet from the moment we went up.
Considering she lives in a fantasy world she probably just couldn't believe we went up and refused to buy back in as her buy orders at 280 weren't filled and now she finally woke up realizing she has a big problem.
It's quite hilarious how she has dissapeared since.

Don't worry. She is just calibrating her graphs.

I was genuinely wondering what TERA thought of the current situation, rather than prompting the gloat-fest that seems to have transpired: remember early March, we had lots of similar enthusiasm for trains/rockets then and look how that worked out.

I thought I'd share this little cool trick for the ones trading on Finex directly via their browsers

To get a very fast refresh interval (every second) of the orderbook (and other parameters as well) plug this javascript function into a bookmark

Code:
javascript:(function({setInterval("update_bids()",1000);setInterval("update_asks()",1000);setInterval("update_rates()",1000);setInterval("update_orders()",2000);setInterval("update_positions()",4000);setInterval("update_wallets()",2000);})();

I found this interesting but why are you updating orders every 2 seconds and positions every 4 secs? I don't use orderbook so sorry if this seems like a dumb question.

not a dumb question. they're arbitrary numbers. Smaller delay = more data to download from bitfinex
