Yeah it's getting pretty damn annoying, and is putting me off posting more often.

Don't stop posting Somac..

Play your marbles with us.... here in the WO..

You haven't said anything really dumb lately, and you know why?

Because you have not been posting.

We "need" your dumb... neeeeeeeeeeed       nneeeeeeeeeeed... neeeeeeeeeeeddd

With the above "insights," I am not claiming to be immune from dee dumb...

That should be:  How NOT to negotiate a higher salary.  I made some of those kinds of mistakes when I was younger.  Kind of embarrassing to think about trying to resolve "professional" issues in those kinds of ways.

The world’s largest stablecoin issuer said Thursday it has moved all its commercial paper holdings into U.S. Treasuries.
...
Since July 1, Tether (USDT) has exchanged approximately $3.5 billion of unidentified unsecured corporate notes or commercial paper for T-bills

Shocked! Just shocked i tell you. US found someone with $68B in market cap to support its debt. I'm guessing after such deal US Department of Treasury will let Tether live, and North Korea can now get exposure to US T-bills by this proxy.

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
Doom has been cancelled. I repeat, cancel doom.

This used to be my Win 3.11 stability test back in the day.

If it couldn't run overnight then the system wasn't stable enough to go out the door.

And most of those systems were overclocked.

Anybody here tried recently to sell some RE?
I would like to hear a story if you have something to tell.
With mortgage interest rates at a 'shocking' 7% about a year after less than 3% there has to be some major slowdown (at least).
Will prices also drop? I would expect so, but inflation might prop them up a bit, paradoxically.

EDIT: apparently, I spent 4 mo of my life on btctalk....gawd...I blame it on not logging out  Wink

Wow, emulation has come a long way. Does IDKFA still give you God mode? My personal mnemonic for that was "I Do Kick Fucking Ass".

I used to dual-boot to DOS, for best performance playing Doom. and Descent2, and Wolfenstein 3D.  That was the last time I gamed. Since then, my only game has been TCP/IP.

Edit: Ok, those and Redneck Rampage.  (disdainfully): "City Folk"

Bear markets Bitcoin (we are currently the green line).
Blue is 2011/2012
Red is 2014
Orange is 2018

Does this indicate that the decline will continue?

A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.

Perhaps playing doom on windows notepad would be less laggy.

https://www.tomshardware.com/news/doom-runs-at-60-fps-in-notepad

Or maybe playing it on a pregnancy test might be faster.

Cmon, a pregnancy test!? Seriously?
...Our entire reality is a doom simulation. Operator, get me out.
