It would be more interesting if it was accurate. The 2011 bubble was ~3000%  (from $1 to $32), the early 2013 bubble was ~1500% (from $13 to $260), and only the last rally was 600% (from $200 to $1200).

ahh, thanks for accuracy and context. I would be greatly appreciative if we could only go up by 300% this time? OK?

That would be great.

300% is a likely ballpark of where the next surge will take us. That's why I think its going to be a while before we are at 10k. I think its going to take maybe 4 or 5 more surges.

Like for a rough guess, not at all really serious:

700 ---> 2100 300% then
1500 ---> 3750 150% then
3000 ---> 5250 75% then
4500 ---> 6750 50% then
6000 ----> 9000 50% and so on...

I agree, that's more probable than another 10X spike, but as the surges are coming closer together, we're still only looking at another 12-24 months before the $10K mark.

Almost Human does it again, with 3D printing this time. They don't call it a bitcoin but if you have payed attention or watched the season they refer to these silver usb sticks as BTC.

 The scene has a 3D Laser printer making a flower.. assuming advanced 3D printing. She takes a device that resembles a usb drive, at the least matches what the referred to as a bitcoin in the previous episodes taps it to his smart phone/tablet devices as to pay for the flowers and departs.

"Trading Platform of The Future!"
Interesting chart:

the bubbles are deflating less and less because its becoming more and more apparent what going on, digital money is the future, invest now, or you will be forced to work for 0.001BTC a month in a few years.  Wink

hehehe, very nice, care to put some dates to that?

kidding aside, if we can somehow win against the most powerful nations and influences in the world, then I could see your "stepladder" scenario playing out.

I very much would like it if this is how it goes, but I think it will not be so easy.

Yeah, I was too lazy to post this, but you're right. More crap charts from a bear.

If there is any trend at all with those 3 surges, its that bitcoin is becoming LESS VOLATILE with highs being a lower overall % and less % being lost after the upward swing.

and the interval between each rally is getting smaller!

The guy who made it (a Belgian economist) thinks bitcoin will correct to 600-400 in the following months.

everyone thought it would correct to 600-400.... even me, but i mean we watched all the FUD go by and, nothing....

now i'm thinking wtf kind of FUD is going to bring the price down to 600.....

seriously, whats it gana take?!

you gotta be kidding me, if this doesn't follow the trend, it will just hit zero and flatline. I don't see much of a middle ground.

2 weeks after the first bubble, MtGox was hacked with bitcoin prize at 0 for 10 secondes then a slow painfull slide to 2
The hack made alot on the deflating imo

but was is amazing is the exact 600% each time in the exact same time window = 40 days

So if i read this the good way : we go back to 350/400%  mean $500 but the next bubble top it's $3000

Truly boring that nothing is happening, around 800 for almost a month now. When it goes up I get richer and when it goes down I get the chance to lose some coins trading.
