Conclusion:

We need to get MasterCharge involved so we can reduce volatility and get people to trust Bitcoin.

That's a weird Venn Diagram.

So why are you all so angry. I thought your main intention is that BTC will be used as a curreny. What is your problem if the Bitcoin price would 1$ or 50$.
Why does it have to be Bitcoin and not another cryptocurrnecy? I thought it´s all bout the protocol and it´s possibilities. Maybe Google will use the Protocol, so what.
In the end you would have won. (Of course not if you hodl Bitcoin  Cheesy Cheesy)

Who is angry?

Roll Eyes Quite a lot in here it seems :-D

Also that Andreas guy from the links in here, seems like to explode any second. Grin Cheesy Cheesy

Who invited MatTheCat to that panel? Tongue

My first thought was, "maybe this is Nagle or Proudhon who somehow got past security and are trolling away."

Maybe wall street will trade virtual currencies, but it´s not guaranteed that it will be Bitcoin, maybe other ones...

Strange, yet attractive.
I expect the regulation will not be ideal, but will be tolerable. It will be enough to get the ETF, an exchange, and a bank or two on board.

And over all, thats a win.

I'll sleep on it. Goodnight from Greece. Smiley

I was really hoping for the panel to end good. To outeven the China news, so I could go to sleep with bitcoins which I love.

But this crazy bot which is on Bitstamp pushed the price artificially high, then this horrendous lag on drop from 870->826. I couldn't cancel my pending order for about 3 minutes on Bitstamp. Which at that time was like eternity, good I am young or else medicopter be called.

Yes, I sold 1 hour ago, and I wish the price would drop so I can buy back in with cheap coins and compensate for my loss. But then.. I just f it and go enjoy sleep.

it has to look and act and walk like bankers!!
Yeah, that is the funniest, and dumbest, comment made in the whole hearing.

He really doesn't get bitcoin.

In the same way that a man staggering around in the dark in a tunnel doesn't know that an express train is coming.

Who invited those panelists? It's like having a meteorology panel with a couple of rain-dancing indians on it. Still reeling from the claim that coinbase is undercapitalized. They clearly don't understand CB's business model. They take almost no risk and charge me 1% fee in both directions. Got to be just raking in money.

I like how the dinosaur who swallowed the mic was talking about the divide between what Bitcoin should become and the current community. Has he ever considered the community exists because we don't trust the fucking banks, central or otherwise?

It doesn't matter. Dinosaurs will go extinct.

Regulators did. They hoped they had a "global" view on the matter. Hope they got it.
