Anyone knows about that new china taobao crypto ban? Could it be the cause?

guys... this is what happens when we go parabolic above a trendline after a bubble. the same thing happened in April-May.
i hope all of the newer traders who were confused as to why i was unsettled by this weekends rally, and the multiple warnings of "we'll pay for this later" understand now.
yes speculators and daily traders may pay if this turns out to be true, but a long term holder wont be effected

haha you're obviously not a merchant trying to actually use bitcoin as a currency, or anything like that 
like i said, sometimes i believe the crap about speculators being good for a market, but then again this bullshit happens with frightening regularity...

Price of a unit is irrelevant to use as a money transfer mechanism. It is premature to use bitcoin without a service provider. In future bitpay et al will be disintermediated by software, but for now they get to play monkey in the middle,because yes, you are right, I finally admit it, the volatility is too much for direct use as a currency, and is likely to remain that way until the super-exponential growth phase has finished.

bitfinex is holding the btc market up now. the stamp/bfx pair is currently the best vehicle for price stabilization.

Do you think after each correction (or crash if you will) there are cashing out some big wahles and not buying back? So maybe the bitcoins get distributed among more people?
i see it as nibbles from new entry, bites from big pocket long new investors, and swallows from long term whales ..When they get swallowed quickly I think its going to an already strong whale
