How will you guys feel about bitcoin when 99% of it is owned by 3 banks and they sparingly distribute it among whomever they deem worthy?
How will 3 banks acquire 99% unless people are stupid enough to sell?

Falling asleep right when Bitcoin hit $455 on Gox was the worst mistake I made. Haven't bought back since.

I sold at 550 expecting to buy at 350...i had to buy at 735 USD...I know i should be happy, but i feel like stupid panic selling at 550...i found out that everybody has some certain selling price...i bought at 90USD/1 BTC so of course i was easy hodling when the price went from 1200 to 800...but then was 700, 600, 580, 560, 550, bum..panic sold...i think many guys here are really calm holding bulls because they bought under 10 USD...so it is little bit more easy to hodl i think...\\
I haven't caught up yet in this thread (3 pages behind), but I wanted to comment on the emotion evident in the post above. Feri22 is suggesting that people will want to dump their coins at a low price so as not to turn their bitcoin profit into a loss.
I agree that many people may act like this. This is why Risto's SSS divestment plan is so important (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/sss-a-sane-and-simple-bitcoin-savings-plan-345065). If you had purchased bitcoin even as late as this summer and followed this plan, you've already divested enough $ to offset your original investment while still hodling most of your bitcoins. Once you've recouped your original $ investment, you can more easily emotionally detach from the $/BTC-rate and avoid panic selling at low prices.

I PRAY for the bitcoin is adopted by big fellas. Even if they acquire the 99% of it, they will be OBLIGED to pay for services and the circulation will begin again. What's NOT gonna happen, is the extra-super-duper inflation we have now. Only 21mn there EVER will be. That's all. You can't keep them all. You need money to make the world go around...
LTC/PPC/(place whatever here) will be players too. Smaller stakes, but IN the game. That's because people need variety and solutions to their problems. Bitcoin might be gold, but there must be diamonds and silver too...

It won't be stupid to sell when it becomes apparent the 1% are trying to acquire 99% of bitcoin.
lol. we'll just switch to litecoin. Let the 3 banks have fun with bitcoin and use it to prop up their balance sheets or whatever these people do.

I guess this year will be the year where it all can happen. All kind of shops are going to accept it and the banks/goverments need to make a final statement towards bitcoin with all the adoption happening.
